Awww, no B+ advertisement on there :( How do you like 3.3 from Mookie's set??
3.3 is awesome. I have some good vids of me and my bro recorded. I played Fox most of the time and he played PT. Lots of good combos, once again fox is broken lol.

I'll update my Tourney page this Wednesday. I have a lot to put there.

yeah but that's PC, PC thrives with mods, especially the half life engine. You don't have to mod your PC and go through a grueling process to play the mods like with Brawl. As much as I'd like it to be competitive, I think it's going to take a lot to get a lot of people to get into it. They may say they're interested but may be to lazy to mod their Wii's themselves.
I know this was already addressed but I think what people really need to start understanding is you don't mod your system, you are just installing software. I keep hearing this again and again, but you really are just installing software, and not that much if you look at the filesize, this is not a huge commitment guys. Modding a system involves a lot more hands on, and usually voided warranties and risk if you don't know what you are doing.

This involves none of that and that's what people need to be told, not because it sounds nice, but because it really is the truth, you are just installing software, end of story.

In truth, I think Makkun gave the best idea for what we should be calling this on the podcast: Expansion pak. It's not a patch, it's not a hack, and it's not a mod. It's an expansion pak because we are mainly adding things to the game and getting rid of glitches that exist in the main product (i.e the triple jump glitch).

That's what I think it should be addressed as and I don't know why we haven't done so yet. Expansion pak will sooth the people's ears and get them to actually TRY and do it.

another thing some of you more well known users can do, especially as we are getting closer to a gold release, is talking to other respected smashers, either melee or vbrawl players that haven't really done brawl+ yet.

Never underestimate the influence of a well known person. Especially on these boards.

Also is there anyone here who is also part of the japanese brawl community, getting it out to them, and seeing what they have done also would be good.

Has Captain Jack retired smash in general? I think he's a good starting point to talk about Brawl+ for the Japanese community. I don't know the Japanese smash community very well, but Captain Jack got along with everyone else quite well back in the Melee days.

I've started showing some Brawl+ to my friends at school (limited to that so far, since I don't know many smashers.)

And they seem interested, I presented B+ like a huge project or something, and they went like '*_* ooh! Interesting, impressive!' (Combo videos are the best).

But then, I've been kind of wondering if there were any tourney near Montreal.
I can't really get out of the City, I'm limited to Laval - Montreal - Blainville - Saint-Jerome (Yep, pretty Quebecois.) If anybody knows, let me know. Smash doesn't seem all that popular over here, but I might be wrong. I'm just an ignorant high schooler that wants the whole province of Quebec to make B+ tournaments.
