Are you a teenager filled with angst, raging hormones, and/or relationship problems? Or are you an adult who just likes angsting about everything? If you said "Yes" to any of these questions, post here and tell us about it.

Right now, I like a girl, and she likes me (pretty much everyone knows about that, but she doesn't know I know lol). We talk for hours on end nearly every night for like 4 or 5 months now, known her since the beginning of sophomore year, get along great, and yadda yadda yadda.

The thing is, both of us are afraid to ask the other out. I feel like we're playing a bizarre game of chess in which the loser has to ask the winner out, and both of us are playing super defensively.

She's invited me to a party at her house tomorrow, and everyone there knows she likes me. Hopefully neither of us will just so happen to get the other in checkmake.

You should... you know.. get some confidence and ask her out.

Girls' tend to like that. A guy with confidence.

But that's not my place to say. :p

The girl I like love lives 2 hours away at her grandparents. I have no car. We actually have already planned out our marriage and such.

I just wish I could see her more... 3-4 hour metro ride isn't that bad, and it is a lot cheaper. It's just hard.

/weeeeeeeeeee now for people to ask "lawl how old r u can u even marry?"

When I was in grade 9.

Just ask her out Zook. You're the guy in this after all. And you're old enough to be playing these little puppy love games. xD

You're going call her and telling her you're going.
Dress nice.
If you don't ask her out tomorrow, I'll kill you.

Zook if you don't ask her out, you're not allowed to use Jigglyoclefairyman as your avatar anymore and I'm removing him from Photobucket so you won't ever see him again.

Nah! It's simple as pie man, you plant your feet on the ground, you look her square in the eyes you say "Hey! baby, you and me's goin' on a date, that's in the story"... What's her name? -Tropic Thunder-

Be the man, no woman likes a wussy. Take control, be confident and show her a good time.

Don't ask her out, and she'll wonder why...things will get awkward and she'll distance herself from you. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN! Seize the opportunity by the balls mate.

I intended this thread to not be only about me, but for other people to share their woes, too. >.>

Also, you guys seem to be forgetting that I AM a wussy. lol

Grow a pair and ask her. Judging by what you say, it's not like you have any fear of rejection.

You don't even need to be super suave about it in this case. To be honest, i was stammering when I asked a girl out for the first time and she still said yes.

Alright! Pre-party tips!

-SHOWER!!!
-Dress Casually nice (Like say, a long sleeved collared shirt, sleeves rolled up, and a pair of khaki shorts)
-Get yo' cologne on. (Not to much so that you reek. Like two squirts, or so)
-Do not take your pokemon games

And then generally party knowledge.

Actually, a gay man really gets them going.
Mainly because women are only interested in the unattainable. >.>

Women don't like *******, unless they're gay, they like MEN. Now grow a pair and ask her out.

Now, that tough love is over, just follow the advice in this thread, and just make sure things don't get awkward after you do ask her out, because this happens a lot with more shy people. Step up to the plate with confidence, and you won't have a problem. Also, when you dress fly, you feel fly, so it helps the confidence.

Indecision, and stuttering don't fly. Be confident. Make your body language act as if you're the best thing that can happen to them.

Hmm...
So its apparent that you both like each other.
Well, then, sorry for being so blunt, but....
Grow a pair of ****ing balls, and ask her out. You seriously got nothing to lose.

I'm going to be a senior when school starts this year but I don't have a clue of what college I want to go to and idk what I should major in. It might not seem like the worst problem to have since I'm still in high school, but I'm still worried about it.

WHo wantss to bet how long it will be before someone starts pretending to have some sort of medical condition? It happens alot on these sorts of threads

Oh and then someone will show up and shout something like "YOUR NOT A REAL ASPIE" and then theres be a flame war

either that or people will be confused by the pretentiosness of this post and start fighting over this post

Personally, I'd just pick something that you like to do and see what kind of majors are focused around that, and then get more into specifics.

For example, I, personally, love science, and as such want to major in something dealing with science. I like learning about how things work, such as the human body, but hate things cellular level or below, so that's narrowed everything down a bit. I still haven't decided what exactly I'd like to do yet, but I'm only going into sophomore year, so that's okay with me.

I say just research something you're interested in. =/

I don't think I'll have that problem. I absolutely suck at those two things. XD

I absaloutly suck at maths!!, I failed my maths exam because I write the letter five the wrong way round and spent most the time trying to work out what two Divided by zero would be, Even though it wasent a question on the paper!!!

so epic fail for me

I can only write good essays on so many topics. Abstract concepts and interpretations of ancient scripture are two of my worst pitfalls.

Also, I'll be 19 this September, but I've still never been in a relationship. My emotions just won't become one with anyone else's....

If you two like each other, go to the party. After its over, say "I had a really good time. Would you like to go see a movie with me, sometime?"

Easy. And you're 17? Psh, you can do this, no problem. Girls >>>>>>>>>>Videogames if you ever forget your priorities, Zook. ;)

Zook here, still single.

However, before everyone starts wailing on me for being a *****/not being able to grow a pair, I did manage to break the hug barrier. :3

Well congrats on that achievement! A small step is still a step. Little things like that will help you relax more.

I have a friend who is in a similar situation Him and this girl both like each other and its obvious that they or bf/gf, but they don't talk about it like that and actually seem to deny being bf/gf. They just spend a lot of time together and are more best friends than anything...so don't ask her out as a date, but as friends, and it'll grow into a date eventually

There's a hug barrier?
Wow, teenagers these days are really afraid of physical contact to think that there's a BARRIER for hugs.

Just wow, I'm actually in shock.
