Excel is so done. Bebop is so in. But yeah I spent all my Super Gauge in pools. Got wrecked in brackets. Like Sovereign, kinda ***** me. I played him so wrong. That and I kinda slept on him something serious along with Greggu. No more underestimating my opponents.

Didn't do hot at all at this tournament. I need to learn the Diddy match up since I always lose to Diddy's, and I'm pretty sure that just killed my spirit so I was reckless against Dedede.

Anyway; sorry if I haven't had any tournaments to report; Vegassmash has been on the decline as of late. I'm still trying to practice and keep my skills just in case. Just because my local scene is dead doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying to rep Sonic once I finish my junior year and start traveling more.

Silly Speed, losing to a Fox. Fox vs Sonic is a balls to the walls match-up. You gotta go full force against Fox.

Im going to Airship and Apex this summer btw. I dont know what i did wrong vs that fox...i think i just got hit too much or something...it was close both games but eh.

There is no need to time out Fox, just start playing it safe once you hit past the 85th percentile; he won't kill you with anything else. This is probably one of the few matchups where it's encouraged to play aggressively as you can (but being smart about it of course). Don't commit to anything like an USmash, a Dash Attack, "Fish-Flop" Fair; you know the stuff that puts you in a state of defenselessness and leaves you open for a quick (but in this case, hard-hitting) punishment. Admittingly as long as all three of those connect you should be fine, but the risk of having them blocked by a shield is far too great for the reward they present.

Dash Attack maybe not so much, it comes out fast and gives some distance; but it still shouldn't be abused. Should not be neglected either though.
