I think asking people to confirm partners now is a bit unnecessary. Knowing now that they will participate in doubles is more important. Knowing their team partner now or at the event doesn't make much difference

How much is the entrance fee for each game?

Might be better if you do this through a google doc, so you can spread it around more easily.

Yeah of course it's open to anyone, the more the merrier :)
Also if you're looking to improve I recommend attending smaller meets (at UNSW etc) as you have a lot of time to play friendlies and learn off of players better than you.

I have been to the unsw meets, but since it doesn't start up until next sem, I have no one to play with now T_T.
(psst anyone in western sydney for smash).
Usually lose to everyone there but it's good fun and I think I'm getting better (maybe).

There isnt an age restriction for entry or participation, is there?

Dude, it's absolutely fine. You're going to an event to play Smash Bros, if there was an age restriction that would be stupid. I'm currently 15 and able to enter anything. Don't worry.

You'll meet some cool people, and they'll be friendly unless you're rude, arrogant, or whatever. You'll be able to enter.

Also I really ****ing want to go to this but it doesn't look likely

of-course not! I believe for this tournament (and most smash tournaments!) you are able to sign up as late as the day of the tournament itself, at the venue.

Online registration has now started.
please go to
http://www.aclpro.com.au/2014/events/sydney/acl-sydney
and register for the games you will be participating in.

If you dont have a doubles partner yet dont worry about it, just put TBA in that section of the form. Partners can be organized on the day. If your not registering for doubles at all put NA in that spot

Expect more details this week.

hmm, i managed to register without much problems. is it coming up with any error messages?
i dont know why skype is a required field, maybe it has something to do with another one of there games.
I will ask about it though and get back to you.
