Something, I'm not sure what, has evoked a change in me. My views are now different. Where I was a conservative Christian I am now a libertarian moving away from religion. I am more accepting to views that I used to oppose, and can associate more with society. I'm feeling more and more friendly to homosexuals and athiests, enjoy watching gay and anthro/furry themed media (although I don't count myself as bi or furry) and view evolution as more than just a theory now.

Indeed, my Smash persona has changed as well. I used to play as fast aerial characters, now I've taken a liking to Bowser and Dedede.

I theorize that some combination of the following influenced this:

1. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.
2. The Black Mages (band)
3. School
4. User Blogs

I am also feeling rather light as if a huge burden has been lifted off of my shoulders. Am I just crazy?

It sounds like you're moving away from organized religion for one of the same reasons that I did, it was too constraining mentally. For someone who deeply thinks about things, I hated how religion grossly over simplied things especially in matters of science and ethics. As a studying zoologist, I wasn't satisfied with "God did it" when it came to the many questions I had, for example. I'm still a conservative though despite there really not being any great voices for it in the US. I became a vampire about the same time I left Christianity too mainly because many of the things I believed aligned with it so well.

I don't know what to say about your sudden interest in furries though... That stuff still weirds me out spectacularly...
