NCT3 plz, this was amazing. I thought I played pretty well overall, this was the first time I went all sheik in tourney for a long time and I'm really glad I did. I wish I had gotten to play more people but I really wanted to watch some matches. There better be a next time, norcal/socal tournaments are always fun

norcal is mad cool. actually i take that back, norcal sucks but all the smashers **** =P EVERY norcal smasher is tooo cool

Hydro Kirby is hilarious, playing teams with you and Ian was more or less the highlight of my day. Also thanks ian for doing all the work w/ the check at denny's

Mexican ****ed me up 3rd game =/ I didn't know you beat all those people in tournament, I don't feel so bad about losing to you even though you play DK who's obviously the worst character in the game

Phil you use a different character against me every time, good games. also i love yoshi's story, regardless of how good it is for sheik, it's definitely my favorite stage to play on

and of course Zhu is the best for staying up late, housing us, being a gracious host, having an awesome venue, having the sickest falco in the country, recording me FINALLY! etc etc

The biggest reason I got second in pools though was because I just went fox the whole time which I feel bad for doing so I decided I'm gonna be a full on Marth player because god knows Norcal needs one.(besides Mike666....I think).

you're right though mike, once you learn kira's play style it's straight up ****. i play him one of two ways: aggressively cause he can't handle it (only when i have tech skill), or camp the **** out of him and abuse his obvious dash attacks and down smashes into **** combos

why don't you just play both melee and brawl, it's not that hard if connor and fly are doing it (and i will too)

it's more or less that i don't like playing melee much anymore, i was at a bad point, where i didn't know how to improve much more....but brawl's changed that and i've learned to read better, so maybe it'll take me to the next level on melee?

i'm at that same point now and i'm tired of melee, but the solution is to just take a long break. that and teams is still ridiculous fun, so i'll only go to tournaments if i have a good teammate with a good chance of placing.

oh and i realized that i need to stop playing seriously in friendlies, i just need to try different **** out. it's taken me two years of playing this game to finally stop caring whether i win or lose in friendlies.

i'm pretty sure brawl's gonna make me a better melee player too, i'm sure they help each other out

yes shroomed is pretty good, i cant say if hes better than brandon cuz i only did like ~5 matches with each of them....but they're both really **** good docs

ok this tourny was amazing for so many reasons, it pretty much balanced out the boring **** fest that was axis and made my weekend awesome
