In one match as Falco, I used his side special and realized I was about to go into DDD's F-smash. So I started randomly pressing buttons, and suddenly it cancelled the side special. I'm not sure if someone already posted this, Falco is my secondary player, I need to know what this cancelling thing is all about.

Is it meant as a fake-out routine?
