Ether - I've noticed commentators don't seem to approve of pad players. At that MWC tournament (where a Juri user got 2nd), during the HDR finals, Alex Valle dropped two sets in Ryu mirrors to a pad player named Royal Phlush. The commentators were johnning for Valle the entire way through, and when it ended, they...were less enthusiastic about the upset as I was >_>

The Youtube comments are funny, nearly everyone is putting the commentators on blast for their "commentary," although it was more towards their lack of commentary over HDR, they kept talking about SSFIV :p

I haven't been in a crew for a while and I think I'm pretty cool with this entire crew right now. I like everyone in it, and I've known most of you for years, some before Brawl came out. I was debating between this and STPL and picked this since Izumi has decided to hate me because I'm honest and not nice with words. I'm fine if you guys don't allow me to join. It's up to you.

dmbrandon told me on AIM that he'd vote the same way Doom does. Then I said "you're going to imitate him instead for once?" and we lol'd and good times were had. I love you, Doom. <3

I remember the first time I met Inui. He vowed to beat DCscribz with Kirby (melee tourney), and he did. God what an ******* :laugh:

LMAO that tournament was hilarious

I twostocked teh_spamerer the same day with Kirby

and I beat Vanz's Sheik consistently with Ganondorf

teh_spamerer vs Tec0 in the finals was hilarious

that was a very fun day :)

Inui, I have very mixed feelings about you joining the crew. You're a great friend and I like you and all, but I'm not sure if your attitude really reflects what Juice is all about. Also, not that I'd typically care, but your awful public image being associated with this crew, coupled with your huge opposition to it for quite a while...all are factors working against my vote.

You stand for too many things that go against what this crew is founded on. Change your attitude and make amends with your enemies first. I'm gonna go with a no for now. I'm sorry.

I don't think I have any enemies anymore. I can't think of any. I made amends with dmbrandon...and that's saying something. My public image also got a lot better in recent months.

What more do you want from me, Doom? Seriously, lol...

Hmmm, i think you should rethink that, Max. Inui really has changed a lot recently.
He was always really cool, but would randomly act in a way that most people didn't act, but lately he's sticking with just being cool.
I haven't seen much hate towards him lately from people who matter and aren't ********. His blog on doubles really got a lot of positive attention as well. Top players are beginning to have a much higher opinion of him.
I feel like you're letting personal bias towards what happened between you guys about the NJ rankings affect your decision too much. The rankings obviously meant a lot to him and he went overboard, but that's done with.
Anyway, I'm not gonna try to influence you much more. It's your decision. Just thought those were some things to think over.

Based on a conversation I just had, I'm changing my vote from "Joke yes vote based on Melee Kirby story" to "legit that's that juice yes vote".

Speaking of MLG and you... Do you need a new static partner for vVv or whatever?

I'm in search of a static partner that is aggressive, really good, and shares my passion for doubles and desire to become a very powerful team on the level of M2K/Ally.

I'd love for it to be Atomsk, but he's not fond of doubles for some reason and doesn't like teaming with me all the time. It's a shame because our potential exceeds that of any team imo.

Yeah, of course i consider you a threat. Always have, even when i was beating you considerably. Figured you should have been coming closer back then. Actually glad you improved. Looking forward to more close sets.
As for Atomsk, he's sponsored with Lee now!
We would be able to do very well as a team, and thanks for the offer, but I'm actually going to team with Frank for Columbus and see how that works out. If we do well, we're probably gonna stick with teaming.

Chris- hah, thanks dude. I hope so. Gotta stay focused this time. Hopefully now that i've experienced MLG for the first time, it won't scare me as much this time.

I'm not biased at all. I don't mind what happened between us. Sure, it annoyed me, but it's nothing I'm going to care long-term about.

However, keep in mind that it was just a week ago that all that bull**** happened. It still reflects his attitude of always having to interject his opinion and his refusal to accept different thoughts as possible truths. In his mind, he is always right and anyone who disagrees is worse than Hitler. ;) In recent times (a few months ago), we were no-good circlejerkers and Brandon was pure evil. Just this weekend, he broke off his friendship with Dave (for valid reasons, though) and has chosen to continue provoking/insulting/bullying him in his crew thread. Basically, once he learns to use nice words and refrain from joining every conversation that he has information or opinions relating to, then I'll be fine with him in the crew.

Like I said, I have mixed feelings. He has been doing a lot to improve himself as a person. I give him credit there for sure. I would like to see some consistent results of that before I give my approval.

That is very unlikely to happen to the degree you want it to. I don't have the capacity to sugarcoat stuff and filter myself to the degree other people want me to.

Looks like the only way for me to get in is to separate Brandon's vote from yours and hope nobody else votes no, and I think everyone else has said yes so far. >_>;
