Rhyme is completely uninvolved with the crew for now. After some...unfortunate family happenings, he's been on near-permanent hiatus. I'll update the crew page and note that.

Which was originally why we broke off from EC, lol. Unfortunately, now most of NJ/NY is quitting. It's a shame that Dave and Inui are on bad terms, because I think he'd be a good fit in STPL. That crew is getting pretty strong and could use someone with his leadership qualities and devotion to whip them into shape.

It's also a shame that NY rarely comes over here, sans Long Island when it's good for them. DA would be great as a rival crew to Juice. We kind of have UFB for now, but you know...we want real competition.

The region actually looks fine in terms of crews. It's just that ZB hasn't been too active.

SWR is extremely strong and quite active now.

Kelvin, so much of those crews are inactive. :/ Back a few months to a year ago, all three of them were HUGE. Cable is too lazy to go to most stuff. Plan Z and Kid haven't shown up to a tournament for god knows how long. Basically everyone in ZB doesn't go anywhere, sans Wyatt. Keitaro and the occasional Xionix are the only active RUN players.

NJ/NY, step it the **** up! Someone needs to overthrow us! Crew battles would be awesome. 5v5?

I don't understand Capcom's logic. When they first released information about Street Fighter 4, they claimed that it would be easy for casuals to pick up. In reality, trying to play the game above noob level is actually brutally difficult. For example, Adon has some very sexy mixups and links, but they require insanely precise execution. I guess they really wanted to substantially reward the most dedicated players, which is respectable.

Crews don't matter anymore lol. Crew battles never happen and everyone is just so god **** happy all the time that money matches don't go over 5$ (can't wait for MvC3 and actually witness some hype *** ****). It's more about states now and Shadow is NJ pretty much.

To add to what I said before about Inui, I consider him more of a crew member then some people already in this crew.

Minty isn't that active but is probably best in the crew once he gets over his MK problem, he complains not liking brawl sometimes

PD is pretty active, and is still learning a bunch of stuff and is gdlk in doubles.

Dave is my static partner and is really active, he is also gdlk in doubles.

@Kelvin: Enemy Controller died months ago. Pretty much as soon as Atomsk left. He was the founder and a major leader, and I had no desire to continue the crew after he left.

The links in SF4 don't bother me NEARLY as much as canceling normals into specials/supers/ultras. It was SO free to do that in HDR but now it's obnoxious.

Both suck, imo. There's a decent thread on SRK about how dumb the execution barrier is. I think TvC has done execution better than any fighter i've played, personally.

Maybe both suck, but I can hit 1f links more consistently then I can cancel Fei cr.jab cr.jab cr.jab into rekkas. I've always liked practicing in training mode in other games but in SSF4 it just feels like an obnoxious chore.

Ya, I definitely agree. I still think non-plinkable 1f links are annoying though.

Go to training mode with Adon and try:

H.Jaguar Tooth, c.lp, c.mp, L.Rising Jaguar, FADC, Ultra 2

Also, I don't know how accurate my observation is, but it seems like a DP motion done with 323 has to be input more quickly than 623. Pretty annoying.
