0C2 DVDs are available!

The 0C2 DVD project is complete, and we're now taking orders for anyone who wants 4.7 GB of matches from the west coast's largest-ever tournament. Several SoCal people have expressed interest in buying the DVDs outside of eBay to avoid shipping costs, and yes, we will allow you to do that. The first batch will be available at this Saturday's Westminster Biweekly for the price of $25.

Also, I'm considering printing a special batch of SoCal-only Special Edition DVDs. They would contain the same content (well, maybe I'd drop a few matches and reinstate Arash and Champ's teams matches), but would have a special label burnt by my DVD drive's LightScribe burner. The disc will look something like this, except with a goldish tint instead of grey.

Would anyone be interested for buying the special DVD for two bucks beyond the original price ($27 -- the LightScribe DVDs cost more)? Either for purchasing this weekend or at another SoCal tournament?

heh. Awesome, since I really didn't want to watch this through my computer and my friends wanted to watch it too, we all didn't want to huddle over a monitor. Since you can convert it, people (like me) can put it on their ipods and then connect their ipods to their TV's(any A/V cable that plugs into the ipod SHOULD work). And voila, OC2 on tv.

Just wondering, who does the money go to when I'm paying for this, and who actually made the DVDs?

And is there anyway I can send a moneyorder/cash directly to someone and bypass ebay? Without a credit card and all that jazz I'd rather bypass that system and sent my money directly to someone. I'm still not sure if I can shill out $25, but this looks like a great collection of Smash.

The money goes to my PayPal account, and any checks sent need to go to me.

You can buy the DVD through eBay without using PayPal. Just pick Personal Check as your payment option and I will send you an invoice with instructions on where to mail the check. Using eBay makes things much easier on me and the staff, because they take care of tracking purchases, payments, and shipments. It also creates a paper trail for you, giving you added legal security in case something goes wrong.
