lol not to start a gang war but from my experiences, the majority of americans that i've met know absolutely nothing about canada and we are just neighboring countries, they know more about mexico than canada, a few, now friends, that i've met initially believed whole heartedly that canadians all lived in igloos all year round and drive dog sleds, ( i played along >=] and yes some even thought that canadians were another race of people totally alien to them =P
for me it's just funny how things like that happen and i dont blame any of them, after all, canada doesnt really have much to show and tell about, media-wise anyway, sorta......

and dumb rednecks is kinda far... =T although what you said about canadian tourists being treated better
it is slightly true in SOME countries, sayyy.... mexico? if the canadian government kept sending them back when they come and try to find work (or what ever other reason they come over for) mexico would hate canada too

I've had far to many bad experiences with groups of Americans is all, alone they're all nice and all, but groups coming to Canada are honest to god the stupidest people on Earth. Thats why the interweb is nice, there isn't nations here, just one large internet family XD
