Aeon, lamento que ser el que te informe de esto pero los resultados del torneo se perdieron. Utilizaron el TIO tournament organizer. Esta en beta, lleno de bugs, y pal colmo no guarda los resultados; esto era algo desconocido para los organizadores. Pero ya aprendieron a solo utilizar lo que conocen. Mejor mal conocido, que por conocer.

Joe%, avisanos con tiempo de la fecha exacta, yo voy a hacer todo lo posible por ir a ese torneo. No quiero darme el vaje solo, asi que los que necesiten pon vallan apuntandose desde ahora.

Keinya por favor dale resize a tus fotos, las hosteas en photobucket que el mismo le hace resize. Le puedes dar 75% del tamano original y muy probablemente ya la foto no rompa el layout, Si no, dale 65% 2 veces que baja la foto a 56% del tamano original.

doji, just in case, si hay una manera de guardar los brackets como tal. en el torneo que organizamos Karla y yo usamos Tio beta, y no nos dio ningun problema que yo sepa. solo hay que darle right click en donde estan los brackets y le dan a "copy to clipboard" y despues lo ponen en paint o en photoshop, donde ustedes quieran, pero lo malo es poner la foto de los brackets en un tamaño que se vea bien cuando los subas a una pagina como imageshack, photobucket, etc. o si quieren, me pueden enviar el file de tio que usaron para este torneo y yo lo hago con mucho gusto.

btw, para grabar en tio all you need to do is click "file" and then "save/save as.." and thats all, i still have the tournament that we ran on my computer somewhere on a file.

Gente me acaba de informar Joe% que proximamente se va a hacer un torneo en la interamericana de Bayamon. La fecha pues no se sabe todavia, lo unico q se sabe es que va a ser como pa finales de Abril. Esten pendientes para mas informacion.

Y como no me dejen ir a ese los muerdo a todos!!!

ps. tambien lo hago por k no mucha gente fueron al d mayagues y pues ahora no tiene excusa d k esta lejos por k ahora es en bayamon y pienzo k c va a llenar mas.

I'm sure there are some willing to sacrifice 3 college days or so for this event, this is Puerto Rico you'd be representing, and before Brawl comes out, I'd be nice to go all out!

I'd say HDL and Uriel since they have been the ones that had won most tournaments 1st and 2nd place respectively. Some others could be Mizu, Eval, Fox Hater and Blazing.

If we are looking for the top 2 they are oviously HDL and Mizu they have the best exp and they know how to use most of the characters without problem. now the real question is who are willing to go. Both of them are avaible since they dont study in the RUM. now if one of them cant go the ones left will be Uriel EGGY and myself. We all are in about the same lvl maybe they have more exp than me since they have been playing this for a long time now. So Ill let that be decided by the 5 of us. But the most important issue now is the date of the tourney cause finals are coming up.

Hmmm no es mala idea Joe. Me gustaria intentar a ver q se puede hacer. Pero pienso q HDL deberia ir, y despues el q gane de ese torneo (que no sea HDL obviamente).

Edit: Maybe HDL should try it out too if the tournament happens. Talvez si hacen un triple elimination entre los 10 mejores de PR seria mejor pa q les de tiempo de calentar a to el mundo, y primer y segundo lugar que vayan. Pero no se eso es lo q pienso sigan postiando ideas.

Well yes they are tourneys here in PR the last one was Rum & Smash 4 and was held here in mayaguez and it was a complete success. And smash fest are held in the east and west of the island.

the tournaments held in the west part of the island are on an university (Universidad de Puerto Rico Recinto de Mayagüez) and on the east part of the island there havent been too many tournaments and their locations are not still, it varies.

I’m against the mini tournament idea (no offense to Joe%). Let me explain. Firstly, a mini tournament will not prove much, big tournaments are the ones that count (I’ll explain that in a bit). Secondly, placing good at one mini tournament (even one big tournament) does not compare to many consistent high placings at many tournaments. And thirdly, no one from the west is going to go to an east side mini tournament, only a full-fledged event. I know many of you came from the east to Mayaguez because you felt that the R&S events will be great, otherwise you would not pay the gas and tolls. Likewise, I will not pay any gas or tolls just to attend a small event with a small pot and a few setups that will only let a few people play at once, which means that many people will not be able to warm up properly, this happened at the Guaynabo tournament. On top of this, many people wind up being absent, and even if they’re not all it means is that there are more people who cannot warm up (that’s why a small event doesn’t prove much).

And finally, one extra event won’t prove that anyone has consistency (unless the same people wind up getting top 3). So far, the only two people (other than myself) that have been placing high, with consistency, at almost every tournament SINCE THE BEGINNING are Uriel and Eval. So I vote for Uriel, because he has a slightly better tournament record and is also more into competing than Eval is. I’d also say Mizu and Fox Hater next, even though they haven’t been on fire lately at events I know full well what they can do when they pull themselves together.

**** just throw a tournament already.Im from Yauco and i'll go anywhere in PR to play against the so called top dogs in PR.Im confident i'll beat anybody i haven't lost in almost 3 years and i would like to risk that streak And if there were to be a tournament there sould be not only singles matches but team matches as well cuz ma teamate and i have neva lost and we come way back since ssb 64 and we want to expand our dominance lol
