I think Kongo Jungle is great for singles.

True thers the crocodile and the barrel that could kill you or safe you but the stage is pretty balanced.

My mistakes guys I wrote como and it was combo. I just say I think its better for him to combo in BF I never suggested he plays better in one stage or another. I think it would depend on the situaton where he will fight better. For example Mario. Dr.Mario, Peach, Marth and Roy will have delicius fried chicken in Final. Chain grab to the mother****

Am I wrong, or are there now 3 girls that smash? I never thought girls would like Smash, most of the ones that live in my town almost don't play games.

The worst stages are the moving ones. The only bad thing about Corneria is if you get shot by an arwing and the bad part on Jungle Japes is the current. On Yoshi Story the only thing that gets in the way are the shy guys and Peach's Castle the bullet.

O and Onett because of the cars

Gah, the "moving ones" confunden a uno.. they'll confuse me a lot. Sometimes I think Im hitting the opponent, but the one hitting me is.. him.. >_>U . . .

Well, Corneria it's good, is my favorite one lol!! In Yoshi Story the shy guys are cute, I dont have any problem with them, and, the bullet in Peach's Castle is easy to evade(for me).

Smaller stages, ones with platforms, lower ceilings, curved floors, and other things like this is what makes Smash balanced. It’s what allows you to give your character an edge over another, and even you against the player themself. If you notice someone does not DI vertical sending moves correctly, you can counter pick a stage with a low ceiling and exploit that. When you win, it means you made a smart choice, and making smart decisions is what being a top player is all about. If you’re against a character that can chain throw you, you might want to pick Onett due to the platforms and walls you can tech off of. Let’s see how well your opponent does when you limit his forms of approach and offense. Because of the falling speed/weight physics engine, as well as more aerial freedom, you need variation in Smash. One stage can’t do it all.

Exactly just like Hyrule Temple is a huge stage but is not flat and FD is big but is completly flat and is a face to face stage.

I think FD is a face to face (como tu dijiste), a battle to death.. like "if you don't come, Ill go ...", no tienes donde esconderte o para donde escapar, just fight and survive. That is why FD is one of my favorite ones, and by the way, Hyrule Temple too because I can make people angry, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! XDD (o desesperarlas tambien).

What is the problem with hyrule temple? I am just personally curious now, since i play smash (just for fun) and i have the greatest matches on that map.

I think Onett is worse the esquinas are at walking distance. In Kongo Jungle thers the rock and other things that may appear.

I'm really sorry but I have to make something clear about this tournament. First there were like 5 participants only because we decided to make a smash fest cause no one was coming but because these 2 guys came melvo and luis well we made the Tourney. Now don't get me wrong we had some great matches against each other Mizu, Eval and I. and they were recorded I hope they post them soon cause it shows how much I have improved (teking and all the ****) . still need more practice. In defense of Vain he just decided not to participate althogh it will be cool to watch a Marth dito between Melvo and Vain. I go Vain all the way.

People I think Carlos, Max, Myself and a lot of other people have been complaining about this since before page 100, we took over 1 year to make it to page 80 and in 1 month you people already are at 150, seriously if you can't see what the spam is about I suggest you lurk more and read the thread before you started posting.
What is spam:
1- Anything and everything repetitive like the very used "Anyone smashing this weekend".
2- Quoting a whole post just for one sentence and then saying "I agree".
3- Introducing yourself over and over. Just to gather the much needed attention that you obviously want.
4- Double posting when you can easily press the Edit button.
5- When discussing something about smash saying the exact same thing as the last guy but in diferent words.
What is not cosidered spam:
1- Flame Wars, these are little fights that take place in the thread, they are very usefull as they adressed interesting matters about the comunity and are in everyone's best interest.
2- Photoshops, as long as they add spice and much needed lols to the thread they are always welcome.
3- Insults, diferrent from Flame Wars this are added comments that require no comeback whatsoever, the poster shall post this and it will be taken as a fact and not questioned.
4- Announcements- Yes we also try to talk about real big gatherings.
5- Invites- "Come smash at my house", instead of everyone asking the person that will host the gathering can let people know he is available for the weekend.
6- Anything that is actually funny.

I agree that from some time till now there's been a very large grow on the number of posts
we have to keep in mind that the comunity from PR has grown a lot and there's been a lot of spamming . but really, do you see any spam in the page before this one?

I think the recomendation for a IRC channel sounds good, that wat we can talk faster, post less and know who is online or not. Problem is, I don't know where to make a channel for IRC. It's true what evil says. If you look from pages 1-85 you will see important stuff and well yes some spam but in a great minor scale and not to mention that it took us more than one semester to get there know if you take a look to pages 90- 152 its all spam, introductions, and msn conversations you dont have conversations in a forum( posting every minute). And you all did what it took us like 6 and a half month in like 2 months you can see the big difference. Also someone posts and when he is finished posting there were like seven new posts and all spam. I know Max told me not to be hostile but come on your spaming is making our comunity look like noobs.

Thats it I have taken this wound out of my heart.

Well lets see last post was at 04:32 PM and now is 11:52 PM according to the boards time.

It been aproximatly seven hours since last post so ill say mission accomplish.

But now the thread is so quiet, it used to be so active and full of people now is kind of dead.

The msn idea is good but people are not online at the same time and to private messege around 4 people is pretty slow.

Maybe is true they have turn this thread to a tornament discusion thread, greeting thread, invitation thread, meeting thread, video posting thread when ther are parts of the board exactly for that.

But if we posted on every exact place we are suppose to:
1. Not as many people would see it.
2. Not as many people would read it.
3. We would lose our individuality
4. Less people would post about it and it would pretty much get lost because of new threads.
5. Also people from other places would spam which I think would be worst.

So what is better to have our own puertorrican span our get it from somewhere else.

This thread Attention all puertorrican smashers! was made for us puertorrican smashers.

In other words I prefer my people's span than to divide and die.

Important: I hope nobody takes this personaly, it is just a though I had.

Even more Important: When I say puertorricans I mean people living here or lets say smashing here and when I say other places I mean people smashing in other countries.
