For the map issue, Yuca, maybe, if you go to a tourist crap center(where you buy tickets and stuff) you may find a map. Ask on the Town Hall(Alcaldia) for one.

For Sheik you can do 2 things:

-When sent very far, don't count on the warp, change to Zelda and use Farore's Wind, get to land and change back to Sheik.
-The Warp move can be very predictable sometimes, characters like Link can just use the Spin Attack attack both left and right.

I don't use Sheik at all, but I can give some tips:

-Short-hop+Aerial front, that should pack a punch there. Since I told this to my bro, he improved up a bit.

-I don't Sheik's chain(forward+b) very useful, stick to have needles always charged, that way if you shoot a needle in a pk thunder, Ness will obviously fall.(oh crap...) Don't use needles on characters that are falling down, since you'll give them an extra jump(well obvious!)

I know you are giving tips but like all of the players here know those tips maybe except what? 2 players. Plus this is smashboards I'm sure people here ( sometimes) surf through the character specifics and check those little "tips" out.

EDIT: Besides you can put those tips on the Shiek thread that way you help out more.

If anyone ever gets to fight the so-called awesomeness team, i would like to see a video of them reacting to stuff like edge hogging and wd-ing. "que pillo, mira lo que hizo. se gindo en la orilla."

rofl, I used to do that edge hogging thingy.. but I realized thats a waste of time, since your opponent can take you out easily out of there with the third jump. So i stopped doing it. And I ussually don't complain about it. and "gindo" is spelled "guindo". Just telling ya.

Here’s a simple solution. Don’t give out tips for characters you don’t play, because they probably won’t be good ones. In fact, don’t even give tips for characters you do play until you see how you measure up to skilled players in tournaments. I suggest waiting until after May 20th before deciding to enlighten people with your divine Smash knowledge.

The best advice anyone could ever receive: not all advice is good.

In this case, we’re talking about experience-driven advice. And since you yourself admitted not having good people to play (if they haven’t been to tournaments, 95% chance they are not), it would be suggested to not make yourself look like a self-proclaimed master.

Some people might have trouble understanding sarcasm in english since everyday life is full of spanish, but let's be fair people; if you are posting on these boards then you have a decent knowlege of english. HDL has a point there

Joe% wasn't a Peach always, he started using her about 6-7 moths ago...

Well, i don't want to insult my partner but he wound up using peach as a long process of "trial and error" against me and other player results. But initially I won most of the matches until he came to peach where now the matches are 50-50 win and lose.

His mains were:
1. Sheik (at the beginning)
2. Fox (close to the beginning)
3. Samus (for a small time)
4. Capt. Falcon (for an even smaller while)
5. Finally he uses Peach and does better than ever before against everyone


In my case, Mario has always been my main... ALWAYS (this isn't an ego stroke)

Bowser is more like a fetish than a secondary. I really don't have a real secondary character but i can do decent with Link, Y. Link, Falcon, Fox, Falco, Doc (what a suprise), Marth and DK

*WARNING* since i don't really have a secondary that also means that i probably suck on the characters mentioned if another good player faces me.
