Big Chungus has become the antithesis of himself twice in a row: first he was a throwaway gag in one of, if not the, best comedy series of not only it's era, but as a whole - then became an predictable, generic and repetitive online joke that was only funny about the first 10 times - then became a symbol opposing the ways of the very people who made him a meme.
if they make a Plus version of Sonic Forces (which they really shouldn't), they should call it Sonic More-ces.

do you ever bang your head on a wall and start thinking of as many things as possible to make sure you haven't forgot anything?
I honestly like how recent Sonic games have taken the character of Eggman - he's got that perfect mix of goofy Saturday Morning villain and actual serious threat. earlier Modern games have portrayed him as a little too serious considering his name is literally "Eggman" and I find the whole "evil dictator" angle of his character to be a slight bit too political. (if you don't know what I mean, look up "benevolent dictatorship", it's a pretty fascinating topic and I'd love to see more media explore it.) I think if a Sonic game wants a non-comedic villain, it shouldn't be the caricature of Teddy Roosevelt named after a breakfast snack. (through it shouldn't be a guy who's whole motivation is "I'm not weak" either)
Considering Amy's complete disregard for Sonic's personal space and privacy (and her unhealthy obsession with him), SonAmy would probably turn out to be a pretty toxic relationship.

Word of advice for any game developer: don't change physics on games with custom stages.
I'd say the only things Mario Kart does better than CTR are sound and graphics - both rather superficial things. I would say character roster, but while Mario Kart has some extremely memorable characters, CTR really shines in bringing back forgotten and obscure characters.

I don't get why rescuing princess is considered such a platformer trope, I can't think of any platformers involving rescuing princesses except Mario.
Impossible Lair is a really polarising Sonic Unleashed-esqe experience - the platforming sections are great, not as good as the DKC games, but still really fun - but the overworld sections are really tedious, puzzles that either have obvious solutions or really vague non-nonsensical solutions, as well as LOTS of backtracking. I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it's to give the cash to support Playtonic's future games.
The National Dex cut isn't a tragedy, anything but - the tragedy is that they didn't do it sooner.

I blame my weird sense of humour 100% on the CBBC show, Chute. It was literally just a compilation of weird internet videos (Potter Puppet Pals was on one of the episodes) with a really dark framing device of getting trapped in the BBC vault and watching VHS tapes until you get eaten by a monster.

F-Zero fans have it extremely lucky - SNES F-Zero is one of Nintendo's favourite games to rerelease, Falcon is a perfect-attendance Smash fighter and got an amiibo as such, he appeared in Mario Maker and Woolly World through amiibo functionality, there are TWO F-Zero courses in Mario Kart, Captain Falcon also got a Mii costume in MK8, (which other more iconic Nintendo characters such as Pikachu and Ness haven't got the luxury of) 3 out of F-Zero's 4 stages are back for Ultimate, F-Zero had a minigame in Nintendo Land, an F-Zero game was on the 3DS Ambassador Program - I can go on and on and on. -
