    "Scrubs" are very much so capable of improving their game without making use of questionable tactics.
    It's not a one way street, there are always a way to improve how one plays, but he writes off any possibility of that happening, because a "scrub" refuses to spam one move or throw an entire match.

    Knowing my fair share about psychology, that article looks biased and somewhat false.
    Not all pros in smash use in infinites, locks and chain grabs, yet they are still recognized as pros.
    In the end, it's not a down to earth psychological summary, but rather a drawn out mantra that people can choose for themselves whether or not to follow.
    Here's hoping the book isn't just a longer version of this.

    Haha, while I hate movies like Saw and Hostel (snuff films), I really hate it when the hero wins despite being completely overwhelmed.

    Since you are a christian, and you like stories where the good guys win, try reading "House" by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. The novel is reminiscent of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I think you'll enjoy it.

    But, if you don't like the good guys losing, never watch any Japanese horror movie ever...
