  • I'm sorry if what I said offended you in any way. It's just that it seems like everyone in this site is always trying to piss me off in some way. If you have ever seen any of my threads, you would know what I am talking about. This also has nothing to do with me getting infracted (it just took the infraction for me to realize what I did)
I was referring to the infinite but okay, BF my favorite stage for some reason. Check and mate already?
    ...........................................what the ****

i'll probably still get it one of these days.
    Oh...alright.

I've been meaning to play that game for a while now.

Can I buy it on the Wii Shop Channel?
    Heyyyyyyyy. <3

    Love you. :3 I have a lab from 5:30 to 8:30, so I'll be home around 9:30. :)
Donkey Kong Country 2 is the best game of all time. You have to regain your skill.

Also: I have no idea who Canon is - and I've never played Earthbound.

    Am I bad?
Ness is actually the 2nd coolest character in Brawl.

I notice you aren't good at Donkey Kong Country 2

    this is unfortunate :(
yayyyyyyyyyy ( extra y's were originally necessary for meeting minimum post length but they also denote my enthusiasm)
It has been far too long. oh and...

EDIT: I realize that I was thinking of thursday haha. so yea, then : )
Hi Yink! <3 heart hart! If you are not heavily partying on friday evening I will try and hunt you down on aim!
The best part is that it's how Nintendo drew him lol. When you fight him in 6 Golden Coins, his pupils are also like that lol.
I actually really didn't like NSBW. I got to world 3 before I got bored and returned it to my friend from who I was borrowing it from. The whole game just felt kind of lazy, like they just took Mario 3, made it look nice, slapped co-op into the game then called it a day.

Yeah, MM did reuse a fair amount of stuff from OoT. Then again, they also ran off of the same engine and at least MM felt like it was trying to do some things differently from OoT. Like the whole transformation thing and the three-day timer.
Oh, you mean when games recycle concepts used in previous installments.

Yeah, I see that in some of Nintendo's game tbh. Like how SMB Wii reused the Koopa Kids and didn't change anything at all about the fights with them.
You mean like a game that rips other games off? Yeah, I see that all of the time.

Like how Darksiders is basically Zelda in nearly every way possible, or how Metal of Honor (the newest one) was just CoD4 under a different name.
I'm pretty sure most games start with a mechanic, then characters, then story. Either way it's just dumb when a game doesn't tell you what you're supposed to do next. That's just artificial difficultly and game lengthening.
I agree that it's better that you play with no help, assuming the game is fair about it. Like you said, when it's BS like dropping you onto the world map then not telling you where to go it's not fun. It's just a ploy to sell more strategy guides IMO.
Basically. Yeah, I know that there will never be anything quite like when I finished FF1 without a strategy guide or the internet when I was a kid but I do not miss those days at all. I'm not one of those people who romanticizes when games were all stupidly hard and all looked like crap.

I think the only thing I miss was the music, because back then the limited sound required composers to focus on the melody meaning that the soundtracks were generally more memorable.
I actually never played the NES Metroid, although I would probably hate it if I did :/

Funny thing about Contra was that the first time I played was a way while back with one of my friends. We actually found his older brother's old NES while I was helping him clean out his house. We decided to hook it up and played Contra. Even after entering the Konami code we couldn't get past the second level because we kept shooting each other.
look like I won't be able to best you this time.

but there will be another time :p

    also red is <3
Honestly, the NES Castlevanias were so poorly designed that sometimes I wonder how the franchise even managed to continue up until it got good with CV4.
oh you mean the shades of red in his eyes that also display tears of defeat?
