  • Everyone seems to love telling me I'm wrong.

Because you are. I know losing isn't fun at all. But you have to stop taking it so badly. It isn't the end if you lose, it's just the opposite ^__^.

But..... Sladers happy about everything? Really? Vampires aren't happy, though :mad088:!
I've been hear since 08', so I guess I have that experience advantage over OTL. Comments like those don't anyone feel better. :q
Everyone can go through losing. How you deal with it though will be up to you. Just saying that quitting won't help.
This tournament isn't a reflection of what you can do. You need to stop thinking like that.

Just because you lost doesn't make you a bad player. I've lost a ton of matches before. When I first started playing people online, I lost a lot. But losing isn't a bat thing, it's only making you stronger. Losing teaches you things that only make you a stronger player. I keep losing to good Falco's because of their good camping, but it's only helping me learn how to counter it.

You need to stop thinking as if losses = your a bad player, because it doesn't. Winning isn't everything, it's what you take from doing these kinds of battles that really counts.

But as long as you keep thinking like this, nothings going to change.
    Sorry to hear that :(.

If your motivations dead, then just take a break from Brawl. I still don't know why you doubt yourself, you have no reason to. But, if you're just feeling like this, just take a break. It isn't healthy to keep playing while you feel like this.
Oh...Well if you don't have enough time for a few practice then just remember, know when to be defensive, stay on the ground and time your Airs.

    A user named Mecko won.
I might just play you instead. I'm not as good, but when I use some of my characters I'm just around... which is good enough.
Alright, a slap didn't work so your getting the next best thing.

You're probably just taking things too seriously. Just remember to have fun ^__^. But you did say the cycle would happen again, and look what happened.

If you're going to start feeling sad again, just look at what I said last time. I hope you feel better, because there's really no reason for you to start sulking just because you lost a match ^__^.
aw ur not a failure. Next time go with your main instead of MU wise.

I've lost count on how many people have tried to cp Marth or Snake on me and it has backfired. ;-; I have gotten MU knowledge from those.

Dont worry i have this thing of if i win a match i have to lose one =/
noooo i have the tage J or ~XI~

alright lets discuss stages any starter but YI and my cp is Brinstar
GGs. You did good. You held off all my better chars (except ZSS whom I hate to use on wifi) and as I've said before, I tend to hold my own versus better, and more competitively focused, players for a little while, before inevitablely losing most matches. If it weren't for lag, I'd say we'd be at least even. Just be more confident in your play, and don't dwell on loses.
Don't worry, you got Ugg. Easy win.

I'll try to be more "smart", but it takes too much effort. Dx
Thanks ^__^. I'm only releasing that story because I'm not really that scared if someone steals it from me.
This Fic was one of the things that inspired me to start writing ^__^.

Well, yeah. You know what to do against characters (at least Marth and Pit), and you know Wolf's AT's. You've also got good mixups as well.
Friendlies help, man, more than you may think.
Bowser's a good character, but so hard to control X__X. Those that main him must have a lot of patience.

Oh, I see. Sorry for asking, I was just curious.
Sure, we could try tomorrow. I'll let you know when I'm available. I should warn you now that any match I'm in tends to be fairly laggy (dual will confirm this). My fc is on my profile if you want to take care of that now.
Oh, I see. Well, it's okay ^__^. If you've got future plans with that novel, I would suggest keeping it under lock and key then. I've got another story I'm writing, but since I've got plans for it, I'm not going to release it on the internet. Good luck with it, though ^__^. And good luck with the career!

But... you've got so much experience....
Sorry if I'm overstepping my boundaries, but if it's so similar to your situation, I wonder if the main character shares similar traits with you... I wish you luck with it ^__^.

One thing I'd wish I get for my FanFic, though: Replies. It's probably because the Creative Minds forum is so inactive, but I've gotten almost no replies to the story >__>... Meh, maybe I'll have more luck if I write an original story...
    lol

If he's lying, then you're lying to him. I've seen the messages. And he's right: all your negative thinking is only hurting you. I know you said you are happy and confident at times, but you put too much stock in winning; you focus too much on the negatives. I'm willing to try to play you sometime and give you another opinion. I lose the vast majority of matches in smash. Heck, I have trouble on lv9 cpus. But I still end up holding my own on much better smashers. If you can manage to beat me, you aren't bad, just need to be more positive.
You say the cycle will repeat. Now it probably will. Just break the cycle. Stop saying that it will keep happening like that. You're already weighing yourself down with that talk.

I feel bad that I can't seem to cheer you up. I just hope that you'll think about what I said, at least while you're still thinking the way you are.

Just try to feel better, alright?
Looks like it didn't work :(. I'm going to have to give you a lecture.
Stop flaunting around those words of discouragement to yourself. For one it isn't healthy, and two, it isn't going to make you better.
You always say that your not good, or that you can never win when you need to. And what has it done for you? The same thing keeps happening you over and over, and you never think it's going to change. What, do you think saying "I never win" will help you get better?
Your own words are weighing you down. Words have a special power. People flaunt them around without a care in the world, but they have more weight than you might think.
I know you don't really watch anime, or that you even know about this anime in particular, but watch these two episodes. Maybe it will teach you something.

Sorry for sounding a bit harsh. But I want you to stop doubting yourself.
Oh yeah, it was pretty laggy that other time due to my sister. She won't be there when we play. ;o
    ....................
    *slaps*
Get ahold of yourself, lol. You're a good player, so don't sell yourself short. And today is tuesday... Knubs said he's going to attack you thursday.
Don't feel bad just because you lost, Wild. I don't care what Ray says. We're going to come out on top.
