My mother talks to me in Korean but like here and there sort of. I try to but there are way too many words I dunno plus school is too stressful to try and learn it during the semester

And I remember pretty much basic talk. My 5 year old niece talks more fluent Korean than I can T_TDooooo it. I mean I love Korea so of course I'd say its worth it
And a winter break trip sounds fun no matter where you go.
