Regardless, very few people can pull off an insta-kill. Much less a combo-kill. An insta-combo kill would be an awesome post to read. If not plateauing somewhere along the regions of epic. Then again you probably experienced that state of euphoria when you called out that guy who made up the story where his brother got shot in the User Blog section.
Yeah. I can't get over the fact that certain members used to contribute so much and then... I guess they got tired of it. I mean it only took a year for the "Intelligent Discussion" section in a small board I visit on occasion to turn into: (a) 2 hour youtube video on issue x (b) "Discuss."
But then again, "that" board wasn't very promising in the first place. I guess any section that requires even a minimal level of effort can't be sustained for very long without people eventually losing interest.
No. I'm not a lurker. I went through a bunch of the old archived posts and perused through some topics. Nothing too serious though. Like if you asked me for specifics then I couldn't really put a finger on anything but I wouldn't mind going back and taking a look. Off the top of my head: Aesir, RDK, and even recently accepted members like Kazoo just appear to have abandoned the subforum all together.
Oh. And I'm pretty much comparing it to last year when you were a temp debater and everyone in the DH was an opinionated arse, but kind of in a "christ it's wonderful" type of way where everyone just rattled off what they had on their mind.
A true moderator would have been primarily concerned with restoring peace and order to the User Blog Section... which means they would have probably ignored the issue as long as possible in order to avoid new topics being made. Btw, DH is kind of empty these days. Any known reasons?

I hate how people state that something lacks scientific basis. Then when I substantiate and expect an awesome conversation about oxidation and DNA-RNA transcription/translation I get a logical rebuttal. I guess science is just a means to an end for many people. It's upsetting that nobody really cares about science to the extent that we could just talk about it in a thread without really needing further purpose except to talk about chemical reactions and final products. Upsetting. I hate people so much.
