I kno rite? Turns out they all had fuzzies again and smashed. I could still feel the hostility in the posts though. It was a healthy, competitive hostility though.

I'm at the sad point now though. There are frequent gaps. There was a whole month gap from July to August just before you messaged me. Munk has finally quit, rankings are done it looks like, and the number of posters has already dropped dramatically. Why is that...?

As for bad mouthing people on the internet, aka beanie. Well I am kinda of the opinion that it leads to ***********. Beanie has a JOB. What if he went to your job everyday Adam and asked you to put in gears for him? You simply wouldn't do it. Even if the situation is slightly different, the case is the same. So in conclusion, stop *****ing. It will be better this way. We wont take advantage of the system and we still have other places to go. Smash will live on and people maybe wont be so inclined to talk **** behind other people's backs.

Malk wasn't treated greatly back in the super competitive NC vs NC crew battle days. Malk was still improving then, and the instance I see where he lost it was when he was unkowingly not picked for a crew battle of epic proportions. In his place was someone he believed he was better than. (PAC picked the person btw.) Malk apparently got upset over this and improving himself+PR+overall skill gap+ability to learn from those close to him(which wasn't good I guess). He just found it easier to laugh off his pain than hunker down and apply himself in new ways to ****. He tried for quite a few months after this happeded to improve though, so don't think he just quit like that. I'm still not through the whole thing, where he's completely spammy yet.

Our whole region is considered inferior in Brawl though (cept florida cuz of Seibrik and Afro and Lambchops and maybe HRnut).

What can I do? I can't make a PR thread because i'm not a TO. I can't be a To because I'm goin to college next year, where there will be no more Ts for me to be an O of. I had an extremely short duration in the tail end of a great saga in SSBM in NC and it won't be long before the Nc threads become overidden with nonsense after I'm gone too.....it's all so bleak and hopeless.

On top of all that, I can't even make the most of my time because of my parents, and my crappy location.

Some people didn't have choice. Many moved. Some went to follow their calling. Others got bored. It wasn't just unwillingness to change. good players are still out there in NC, I'm just not allowed to play them.

Just another reason why idealism blows.

It's interesting. I like learning about NC. About the beginnings. About old rivalries and true competitiveness in the state. I mean, look at us now. We're divided over Brawl. The originals have moved on. Malk was actually serious in all of his posts back even in the end of 07. People wanted to get better and **** and rep at OOS tournies. None of that matters to hardly anyone now. that makes me very sad. When I look at these threads, I can almost feel the competitve spirit resonate from the posts, and I have hope for myself and for the current smashers once again. Is that so much to ask for?
