Hahaha, yeah. I tend to just focus on one per week, or a combination of two of them.

Yeah, you may be right, although I even find myself switching entire genres from week to week. One week I'll be really into rap, the next I'll be really into country, then I'll be really into rock, then pop...etc., lol.

Hahaha, it really does. It did so even more than usual this week because I got a TON of music over the past week and most of my chart was made up of those songs.

Sometimes I wish my charts were more consistent though. It'd sure make it a lot easier to not be starting a chart from scratch each week, lol.

Do RAW first. RAW is definied as an eyeballing of the top 50 and haphazard arbitrary rankings of the songs.

All 1st week songs gain 500 points & 100 points for each spin they had & their raw position inverse points (#50 position = 1 point, #49 positon = 2 point).

Any songs falling off the raw chart, fall of the chart completely with no points.

Old songs keep their last weeks points. [New tracking system 1500 for 1-8 of raw; 9-25 get 1000; 26-50 get 750---Very likely to result in the arbitrary subtraction clause due to first week.].

TOP 8 OF THE PREVIOUS WEEK:
Songs maintaining their position gain 100 points. Songs increasing position gain 200 points. A #1 song gains 300 points for maintaining its position. A song losing positions but still in the top 8 gets no bonus. A song losing positions but out of top 8 loses 200 points if they fall into the 9-25 range, or lose 400 points if they fall into the 26-50 range. Songs also gain their inverse points from raw.

BETWEEN 9 AND 25 OF THE PREVIOUS WEEK:
Any song getting into the top 8 gains 500 points. Any song increasing within that range gains 300 points. Any song falling out gains no bonus. Songs also gain their inverse points from raw.

BETWEEN 26 AND 50 OF THE PREVIOUS WEEK:
Getting into the top 8 is a 500 point bonus. Getting into 9-25 is a 200 point bonus. Remaining in the range is no bonus. Songs also gain their inverse points from raw.

For all songs the number of positions changed will add x+/-10 to the score.

Any song over 10 weeks old that increases more than 5 positions gains a 100 point bonus. Any song over 10 weeks old that increases more than 10 positions gains a 300 point bonus.

Any song over 15 weeks old that increases more than 2 positions gains a 200 point bonus.

Arbitrary preference points may not be added only subtracted after this.

After this, all songs moved into their new chart rank position by weekly points.

The week as a whole will then be multiplied by its strength coefficient. A standard week is x1. There is no maximum coefficient. The minimum coeffient is .01 which is a freeze where no music has been listened to at all throughout the week; this includes any song, charting or not.

This will serve as each song's weekly points. Weekly points are totaled throughout the year for year end totals.
