Y'know, Kibble, in many ways it feels like you're still not back... although, that's more of a reflection of how much our values have changed than a measure of your own effort. We all knew it was going to happen when you left on that summer, two years ago, but I don't think anyone would have guessed it would have changed like this. I've seen your draft on the Bunker - I'm sure Junahu and the rest have as well by now. If you want my advice, I say to finish it. It probably goes without saying, but I think we all need a wake-up call here... myself included.
When you left MYM, you left a hole which has never quite been filled. MT and I both tried for a time, him being far more successful than I, but ultimately neither of us measured up to your "presence."
As you've no doubt noticed, MYM is going through a period of transition. XI is coming up tomorrow (today!), and for the first time... I don't know if there'll be another. So for the first time in a long time, I'm going to make a serious request. Finish that article. You have a life and other priorities right now, I realize that. Heck for all I know, you're married. Regardless, you've always been one of the coolest-headed MYMers out there, and your voice is needed now more than ever. I'm taking a lot of responsibility on this contest - there are tons of things to revive and rediscover. With all this political stuff going on, I can hardly log into the chat without being accused of spreading propaganda. You're in a unique position to make a difference in the minds of MYMers everywhere. If you can do that... well, maybe I can still find it within me to make MYM XI the best one yet.
