Official Character Competitive Impressions - Tourneys, Tiers, Theories, Tactics

Not so much high tier as just really easy to play. He has more range then a lot of the cast but he's somewhat lacking in speed in moves when people are in your face. He also has some crazy throw damage then most of the cast doesn't (with the exception of the likes of the Kings\Marduk)...

Official Viability Ratings v2 | Competitive Impressions

I could be wrong, but I believe Chris G started in Smash way back in the Brawl days before transitioning over to Marvel and SF IV.

Official Viability Ratings v2 | Competitive Impressions

I had meant to type in this post earlier when the Toon Link talk started but had to run off to work. Forgive me for both the mistiming and the long post ahead. As someone who plays Toon Link to understand why we don't see him often and then later because I came to like his play style, I'll try...

"Who WAS That?" The Player-Finder Thread

[3ds] Good games to Dusty. Your Game&Watch was one of the better I've come across and I appreciated the long set. Seems in the end you just wanted a win to bail but...ah well. You seemed to keep throwing aerials at me expecting them to work and for a while the bair did get me as I was unsure...

"Who WAS That?" The Player-Finder Thread

Might of very well been. I just quoted you in another thread as we think alikeso you've very likely come a long way. If you ever want to play again just let me know and I'll give you my 3ds FC as I unfortunately don't play on Wii U (don't own one).

    How do I really improve

Heh, you and I give similar advice Nexin. To add to this, one really good way to improve is when you lose (especially to good players), see what they are doing to YOU. Watch and then ask; Are they reading my patterns? Am I not pressuring them enough so that they are given free space to breath...

How does one defeat a good Little Mac?

I should of put this in my earlier post but just to elaborate on some things that are Ike specific as I play him too. Ike's best spacing tool and one of the best anti little mac spacing tools in the game is his Jab 1. It's just as fast if not faster then a lot of his stuff and comes at a range...

"Who WAS That?" The Player-Finder Thread

Good games to an ZSS and Lucina player named Alex on 3DS. Sorry for the abrupt leaving.

An Open Letter To The Smash 4 Player

Sometimes the truth is the hardest pill to swallow. It might be overbearing and maybe even a bit offensive, but it can also be the best way to be told something flat out. The people who really want to get better and are stuck might come across this thread and be initially mad but reading it...

How does one defeat a good Little Mac?

Believe it or not, there are some holes he has. In that aforementioned fsmash to dsmash trap, he has armor on both but if he's facing you he's going to have to hit backward which gives time to punish. Something else to learn is treat him with more space then where is as a lot of his stuff moves...

How do I deal with spammers on For Glory?

Marth and Roy can be easy to zone out but they have just the right tools to help them to not be so that they aren't eating projectiles most of their stock. They both have really good dash and running speed, their sword hitboxes can clash and eat some projectiles (not an absurd amount, but when...

How do I deal with spammers on For Glory?

Aganist people like this, remember movement can be it's own attack by itself. Invade a zoner's space and they will now have to consider what to do about you entering their close range zone. If you run in and shield a link bow and boomerang combo, will he try to fsmash right away on your...

Will For Glory worsen you before a tournament?

With Cpus you don't have to worry about lag, but you could get muscle memory you don't want to get into your system. For Glory may have lag and possibly bad opponents, but you'll have (potentially) more variables to deal with and can keep your muscle memory more varied and fresh. They both have...

"Who WAS That?" The Player-Finder Thread

[3ds] Good games to an Ezekiel. Your Roy is pretty decent but you've got a big flaw in which if you whiff or block something you'll often roll almost every time. I wasn't able to punish it as much as I wanted but I caught on to it pretty well. Get that out and you'll get better. Good games once...
