I insist that this be made the official nickname for Ike's dtilt: The Spank. Hitting someone with it is also called spanking — it's like spiking, but you don't have to get off your arse to do it.

I like the chaingrab 3 times, then a forward throw, then laser lock. It works fairly reliably, I've found. BIG damage.

That's what I thought, but I've done a series of them to great effect, so I just wanted to know if everybody already knew about that. It usually only works on the bigger characters, though... :(

Is RAR-bair just one hit with it, or is it a whole series of bairs to carry the opponent along?

Well, to set up for an Aetherspike, anything that puts them just over the edge is good. I usually put them there with some RAR, or a nair -> jab-cancel -> Aether. If they're already at the edge, just throw them, or AAA, or something without too much knockback.

I personally think Ridley should be fast. Maybe a bit weaker to compensate, but he seems like a more agility-oriented character than a power-oriented one.

Is there really any reason he can't be fast, like Fox or Falcon? Nothing's quite set in stone...
