well coming from a former clan i think i heard everything about a lighting cloud lol i hate it as well its just irritating
Definitely. Its giving the newer members of the site, or whoever wants to learn, a chance to talk with experienced veterans and really improve alot. If we can get enough people involved, it might even get Stickied!
Sounds really cool! :) And yeah, the Training Grounds is the best new idea since.... uh, well its a great idea. We hope it'll raise the skill level of the community and improve people's games.
When i was in Colorado, I put it in my sig and location. Looking forward to it? :)

(BTW, have you visited the Training Grounds? There's a link to it in my sig, if you want. It offers many, many ways to improve your game.)
yea i find mkwii unskillful (no offense) i used king boo and peach I used king boo on standard kart and peach on mach
Well i used to be a mario kart wii player and my forum was mariokartwii.com and im just sick of everyone choosing funky kong and daisy just because there the fastest and that just made me mad and i said im going back to brawl and now im here i just need to get my wii back
No, it was just there, so I wrote something up. The OP keeps double posting, and he sorta buried it...
yea im trying to get used to the site as i just left a forum like 2 days ago i was sick of that game and i wanted to play smash again
:) Yes! yeah, I want to make some sort of Blog, because I'm in a writing mood today. But I dunno what to write about....
hey Sammy. Er, I'm trying to become an intelligent poster, so I wrote this up in one of the blogs today. Think it looks intelligent?

I really, really like Brawl alot, but I admit that they did a fail job balancing the game. Brawl is a game where you choose your main because you enjoy him. However, there is no denying that there are better and worse characters in Brawl. Its fact. In addition to broken characters, there are fail characters too. People like MK, Snake, Marth (:chuckle:), D3, wario, and more stand above the majority of the roster while Falcon, Ganondorf, Link, Samus, and others sink below. And then people like Luigi or Peach or Donkey Kong or Wolf play right in the middle. Regarding the highest tiers, I'm not saying that MK or Snake are ban-worthy (do not flame me :)), but that they are at a much higher standard than three-fourths of the cast. And Samus and Ganon and Falcon just do not contend in an environment like that.

Now, a player's skill level is superior to the disadvantages or advantages of his/her character. Yet competitively, your skill is usually matched by an opponent's, allowing for the match-up factor. A MK player will have a slight advantage over a Fox player, and an incredible adavantage over a ganondorf player. In a relatively balanced game, the differences are subtle to moderate because every character has some chance at the top spot. But Brawl's brokenness does away with those possibilities and requires low tiers to pick up a high tier secondary or first (the usual case, that is). Point blank, a Snake player will tend to dominate over an Ike player. A D3 will generally place better than Link. Falco will usually KO Jiggs.

Yes, there is a wall, however thin or thick, that separates those of high tier from those of low. And the middle tiers all rest in the valley between the two hills. Here we have it, the truth. There it is.

Why don't I play Plus then? I hear it promises a fair game to every combatant. :) Maybe because I play a high tier in the first place.... Maybe because I choose to put up with the imbalances of Brawl.... Maybe I'm afraid of change....

Well, anyway, thats my speech; felt like writing something up. ;) yep.
    Not much, not much
Been keeping busy, haven't had as much activity :( IRL I've been working on texturing hacking :D
    How bout you?!
Hey sammy, you still thinking about doing a tourney?
If you need any help or if you got any questions I here!
The trick is never to rush the grab...just wait for the mistake and take the grab...
and with the ICs a grab=death!
but you have to get good at it first! :)
    being bored...
I just shut my wii off for the night and not too much action on the boards!
Where you going for your trip?
Not at all. He faces me sometimes, but only reluctantly so. And I wouldn't say he's interested in it; he just wants to get a little better.
Oh its all good. Getting my bro to Brawl me a little, just so I can have a human opponent atleast. He's even starting to want to train a little. :)
