I'm certainly with you there. I support your cause fully, and I hope we see a day when gays have the same rights as everyone else.
Oddly enough, I married into an EXTREMELY catholic family. Luckily, they're somewhat tolerant.
Because so many people know and understand the 'will of God'. They claim 'him' to be an omnipotent, all-powerful being, but they know what he wants? That 'will of God' nonsense has spawned more hatred and genocide than any satanist cult ever will.
On the bright side, it seems like younger generations are actually not seeing being gay as such an inherently 'different' and 'terrible' thing anymore. That's not to say all discrimination is going to just disappear, but at least there's hope.

I totally agree. It's a pretty big topic of discussion here, actually. Iowa City (where I live) is very liberal and pro-gay rights, while the rest of Iowa is...not. Iowa was one of the first states to allow legal gay marriages, though.
I don't understand why people have to take away other people's happiness and opportunity in the first place. How is it hurting anyone?
