But yes, L canceling is indeed the major factor preventing Fox from pillaring with dairs. The other being that it just takes so long to wear down a shield with it, so it's easier to shinegrab anyway.

I wish it was possible to do more with the footstool and the limited stuff they added but then we all can only dream. I really do think planking is a big reason why Meta's so ridiculous right now, that and how powerful camping with him is if you're ahead or they lack a projectile, but I don't think there's a practical way to enforce a "no planking" rule either even if it was accepted by the majority as something that needs to be cut out.

If you say 5 seconds then they'll just plank for 5 seconds, run to the other side, then do it again for 5 seconds. Or omit running to the other side, they might just attack for a bit, then plank for another 5 seconds. They'll steal eat the clock. And realistically they can't implement a ruling saying the people have to attack each other because then it just dissolves into a "I'm trying to attack but I won't attack until he comes after me" or "I was attacking a second ago" and whatnot.

Sigh.

I never disappear or even really lose interest in Smash. Inactivity on Smash forums is usually due to Smash forums being relatively boring. You can always hit me up on AIM if you have it, NasuHasano155. If you don'thave AIM, you might as well get it because everybody and their mother uses it .

I actually do NOT have a cousin that is into competitive pokemon. Me and a bunch of my cousins and brothers actually tried to get into it but the hassle of EV grinding was just too much and in the end we turned out with maybe half a team and very dusty pokemon games.

I really, really hate driving and I used to be willing to do a lot of it for Smash but now you really gotta catch me on a good day. I live in Pomona, which is in LA county (around the outskirts) and I spend weekends at home in Riverside with the family, so if you're around I wouldn't mind playing.
