    its also good if you're in tumble close to the ground and any attack you use, you'd have to land with it and have some lag. untumble so you dont have to tech, and you dont have to be in lag from an attack. but yeah, youre very rarely in that situation, so its not THAT important.

    but really, theres no reason not to do it. so you might as well get in the habit. I do it unconsciously now.

    and i dont know much about melee but i think thats actually kind of a blessing because pp is a melee knowledge god and just assumes you know things. so if you have any basic questions ask someone not-pp first lol.

    you can attack out of a tumble anyway, you just can't do anything while in hitstun, and you're often in hitstun in the beginning of your tumble.

    untumbling just sets you to a neutral position, it doesn't actually reduce hitstun any, you can only untumble when the hitstun has worn out. Which is why this is only useful if you need to airdodge and you need to do it fast, otherwise you could just attack out of tumble and then airdodge if you really had to and this wouldn't have a purpose. which is why its good for yoshi because he needs it for recovery sometimes.

    LOL I'm a stalker

    its called untumbling. (wiggling the joystick to get out of tumble animation)

    its mostly only useful for yoshi because he has to airdodge more then most characters. but its a good habit to get into just in case you're ever in that position where you need to airdodge.
