  • That's the way my mom and sister are.

Well cya later then, got to go to bed before my dad realizes I snuck on my laptop.
    Sorry I disconnected.

My dad shut off my Wii. <_<

That was a lot of fun though, we should brawl again soon. :D
Can I be in the video? You can even ask uffe if im good :p I also have some epic videos.
Apparently "dair" works. I don't know. I used to use it and I decided that when I was fighting you, I was just going to use all but one of Ness' attacks. That one attack was PK Flash. I tried to save you whenever you fell off the cliff in such the worst way. D; I mean yeah, I want to win, but these were friendlies, so I felt bad because I know what it's like to accidentally SD off the stage. >_< As for your air dodge > dair, that was pretty awesome. I'd say you have a pretty good Ness. There are a few people who can't even beat my Ness. :p

As for the PKT2 collision, I don't remember that one. D:
There was a moment on Smashville where I should have lost. You attempted to grab me four times and none of your grabs even connected! I was like, "WTF is going on?" O_o Anyway, yeah, I felt that lag coming in on Halberd. :/
Good games, man! I'm glad you were able to win. :D My brother wants to play Brawl right now, so I'm off of it for today. I was trying to tell you to shield, spot dodge and air dodge more. Somehow I knew you were going to win that last match. Anyway, your Ness is pretty good! If you want any tips or anything like that, just let me know.
Right now? I'll need to tell my brother to let me play some matches and I'll need you to be on. I'll be on right now. But don't expect me to play so good. I didn't get much sleep. :urg:
That's fine. I think so anyway. I'm not sure what my schedule is on that day, but I'll let you know when I find out.
heh, thanks dude. its nothing special.
just a little move added to falcons playstyle, usefull for "combo's"

    -Rebaz
I have tomorrow off, so I suppose we can try tomorrow. Also, thanks for the comment. XD I found it on DeviantART and had to save it! XD
By the way, I saw you on last night and I was going to try and play you. Of course the Wii keeps dying everytime I want to play online! ]:<
You can buffer turnaround Utilt, but you can't reverse it like the falcon punch, to my knowledge
That's my brother playing. The Wii died on him already. I'm kind of surprised it's holding up for him, though. >_<
I can't man. Wifi is being stupid. Like I'll set up my tag and color, but when I get to choosing the stages, the Wii dies on me. I don't know what's up. I attempted this about four times or so and it kept happening. :/ I need a new Wii. I've got this Sunday off, so if you're not busy, then perhaps we can play. Otherwise I don't know what's going to happen.
Dude! I'd totally be up for some right now! D: I've been meaning to play Ness mains because I've gotten rusty. >_< However, wifi is being stupid.
stopping snakes grenades is risky overall, as he can make them drop.

and yes, the dash attack intercepting his mortar slide is cool, just like the falcon kick inetrrupts it
The only one with Guassis was the one on Smashville. If there was another one, that was a pretty recent one with a friend. I had won all three matches. And to make myself sound egotistic, I two stocked him twice. It was quite a surprise actually. And yeah, practice with PKT2 more. I saw you use them successfully in some of your videos. Also, try to learn how to do a Pivot PK Fire. If you have a problem with it, just ask me and I'll try to go into detail on how to do it. Once you get it down, it's really easy to pull off and it's good for slight spacing. I'll just send you a PM on how to do it. Again, good job with Ness!
Yo. Just got done watching your videos of you fighting Lucas. Your Ness looks pretty good. I'm going to send you some videos of my Ness to see if you can pick up anything new from them. I noticed one major thing you did wrong with Ness. Okay, so it's not really major, but it's you using his back throw too early. Once you use Ness' back throw early on, your opponent, even if around 100% damage, won't die as early as you wanted them to. Again, it looks like your Ness has gotten better. C:
You can take it slow if you want. If you foxtrot, you can easily pivot grab. In case you don't know what foxtrotting is, it's when you push your analog to the left or right direction and just tap it instead of holding it. You can tap left or right and turn the opposite direction with a grab. After you get the hang of that, you can try running and doing it. It's somewhat simple to pull off if you do a chain grab, though, since you'll be walking and grabbing your opponent in the first place.

Also, to make sure you're doing this correctly, you don't run when you chain grab. You grab > d-throw > walk > lather, rinse and repeat. Dashing and grabbing your opponent will most likely make you fail chain grabbing simply because it's the incorrect way of doing it.
Yeah, his chain grab is pretty good. It's especially good if you can pivot grab. ;D I'm still trying to learn how to pivot grab, though. It's somewhat easy for Falco, though.
Sure, I'll watch them. I don't use Falco anymore, though. That character failed me really bad. When you're getting two stocked by other people and you're using Falco, then there is something wrong. -_-
Some characters are better off not being hit with dair unless you know for a fact that you can do it, which is kind of hard. For Olimar's uair, it really depends on his Pikmin. They're different each time unless they're the same color one after another and the Yellow Pikmin are ones that can't be easily killed. Gimping Olimar shouldn't be too much of a problem if you've got him at a horizontal part of the stage or below the stage. You can just edge hog him. Olimar is a tricky little ******* that shouldn't be tough for Ness, but can be simply because all his attacks look the same. His grab is by far the best long grab in the game. If he throws Pikmin at you, use your nair.

If he's trying to grab you, use PK Fire. PK Fire goes further than his grab. Just be sure you're not close by him. Nair is somewhat effective against Olimar, so try and use that, but don't rely on just that one attack to win.

Zelda is tough for Ness as it is. Oddly enough he has a better time against Zelda than he does Sheik. When Zelda is off the stage, there are a number of things Ness can do to her. He can dair her, use PK Flash or PK Thunder 2 on her if you can predict where she's going to land. If you truly want to dair your opponent off the stage, you can use fair > second jump > dair. Something similar to that could and does sometimes work.

Okay, Mr. Game & Watch is really annoying. There just isn't any point in trying to dair him off the stage. His recovery is good and on stage he can just use his uair to make it seem impossible to hit him with your dair. However, it's not impossible. It's just really difficult. It's like trying to dair Sonic, it's just not that simple. Of course, again, you can try to use an attack method that leads into Ness' dair.

I'm not sure what these three are doing that make it hard for you, so telling me might help, but I can say this about Zelda. If you use PK Fire and she gets caught in it, there is your chance of jumping into your PK Fire and using your PSI Magnet to absorb it for health. Her smash attacks are the attacks you'll have to Smash DI out of. You're better off not spot dodging Zelda, ever. Her smash attacks have that lasting effect where you do not want to shield grab her or ever let go of the shield. If she's doing this, try and roll away from her, not around her, but away from her.

That's another thing. Don't ever roll around Zelda. Her down smash is pretty powerful. Okay, on to Mr. Game & Watch, again. He's not an easy match up for me, but I'm told that the match between Ness & G&W are 50:50, which I don't actually see being true. However, here are some things I've learned fighting G&W. If he uses his Pump or Manhole on you, YOU can Bat him. Of course you have to be very close to the attack, not to the point where you're getting hurt, but you can Bat him. I fought a G&W main about a week ago, four stocks, killed him three times with my Bat and the last time with my bair.

Ness' fair is something you'll want to use against Mr. Game & Watch. G&W has ridiculous attacks. He's a character you don't want to roll around, too. His up smash is very strong and has a big hit box. His f-smash is also deadly. Don't rely on smash attacks against Mr. Game & Watch. Use more tilts or neutral A's. You can use PK Fire on him, but don't make it predictable or he'll just absorb it with his Bucket. If he grabs you, try and DI because he'll most likely use his down throw > down smash. Avoid this. But anyway, Ness' fair should do good against G&W. G&W likes to use his bair a lot, so know that he'll use this and know when to dodge it. Yes, dodge in the air. Also, abuse your grabs whenever you can. Ness' grab is pretty good in Brawl and he can back throw his opponents.
First off, your videos were hilarious. Especially the one where MK did his taunt and got poked by that spike. XD Secondly, try and use less Baseball Bat. It's a good attack, but it's fairly slow, too, which can punish you. From the looks of it you have nice spiking. Nice use of Yo-yos, too. I think you can use more PK Thunder on your opponents than yourself, too. Use a bit more aerials, too. Not that you have to. But it is suggested since Ness is good in the air. Use more spot dodging, air dodging and shielding, too.

Don't hang on the edge to wait for people to come, too. If you do this, they might be able to kill you, or you might end up killing yourself by accident.
Okay. It's okay. I fought Shaky and Chrono_Cross a few days ago and I believe the Ness dittos helped me out. :D I'm doing fairly well with Ness right now. I just want to get you very good with Ness, too! :D I have tomorrow off, so if you want to have some ditto matches, then cool! Also, I have your Wii and Brawl code now and so send the videos whenever. In the mean time, I'm going to bed.
Ah. D: You need more human contact, my friend! It's the best way to learn! :D
My Wii code is 4698-8041-9330-6254. Just put the name Dryn under it. After that, send me the videos and I'll do my best to tell you about them.
