    When I got half way into season 5 is when I began loving it and started to accept as a new show, which it is, since that is the point of Doctor Who.
    I knew that after Tennant left it would turn into a new show, but I kinda didn't want it to.
    Absolutely loving it now though, and with Rory and Amy gone I am going to have to make that adjustment again with the new companion.
    Although, I think it is going to be time for Matt Smith to resign soon, since he has been on 2 and a half seasons so far, and the average for the Doctor to be on is 3.

    The newer ones were a little bland at first to me, I felt like they were more like fairytails than aliens and time travel.
    Also, I felt like season 5, when they introduced Amy, they completely made her character undeveloped and uninteresting.
    She herself was awesome, but that season was really boring for her.
    It wasn't until later one I felt like they were giving her more character rather than just random things here and there.

    Yeah, it just has the potential to become really overbearing. We're trying to avoid that since the project is rough enough as it is. But as I said, you still have the character board threads as a means of communication with those on your character panel :)

    Hey :) unfortunately I don't think that will be happening, the whole point of a private subforum is to keep the discussion restricted to a handful of people without the influence of outside forum members. If people could read the subforum, they might bother/pressure panelists to change their viewpoints, which isn't what we want.

    However, I am encouraging all panel leaders to post updates in their character board threads, so if you have any questions you can ask about how the project is going in there :)

    Then that's probably ok, but the main point has to be logic/evidence etc. Personal experience is just a bonus you add on at the end.

    I wouldn't advise it, because using personal experience to make a general point is normally considered bad logic. Another way to look at it is that if personal experience is the only argument you have, your point probably isn't very strong.

    Oh sorry I read your last message but forgot to respond. Did you mean you wanted me to use Lucas in singles at a tourney or did you want to play him in Singles? And to dusterslide, tap back on the control stick to fall off the ledge, then press Y or whatever your jump button is that isn't tap jump, slam the control stick toward the stage and press Z

    Dawww, thanks man. I know I haven't been frequenting this board much, but between school, blossoming relationships, and my work life; I've been rather busy. This week I've had some extra time since most of the work for my finals have been wrapped up.

    For sure man, like I said, be excited to see how well you'd do with a little more practical experience, because you've already got some good intuition going and some knowledge to back it up, I think a major and some more exp would do you a world of good, so I'll be lookin forward to hearin from you come V4 of the chart! :)

    And I honestly thought you had a good deal of insight for someone who doesn't main the character. Your lack of direct experience (whether it be actually playing the matchups or watchin videos or whatnot) kind of prevented you from identifying some of the finer points of the matchups, but you seem to have a good grasp of the character's general mechanics and have a good intuition for the general dynamic of a given situation, though sometimes it's limited by a lot of reliance on theory-crafting, which can only go so far. I'd be excited to see how you do with a little more practical experience and such :)

    Nah, he was never interested in learning anything more advanced than the basics when we used to play (too much effort) - and he has a job/girlfriend/house to maintain/etc... now anyway
