    The main reason I use grabs are for a) shieldgrabbing as punishment. 2) baiting an airdodge. III) pivot grabbing dashing approaches and Sonic. four) putting people off the stage to set up aether spikes for stupid people who jump back, walk-off d-airs for the smarter people who let themselves...

    Erm...I do believe the preferred method is to tilt backward diagonal on the control stick. That way you don't wind up doing down tilts on accident. Other than that, yeah-what Rykoshet said.

    There's been a lot of stir about yoshi *possibly* (I disagree) countering metaknight thanks to a grab release spike. Bowser, on the other hand, has nothing like this. :( Countering spam with bowser is great; actually fighting a competent opponent is a whole 'nother matter.
