If the opponent doesn't DI it can work as a weird mix up. If they DI correctly away they go too far to follow up. Other than that it all depends on if they tech like you mentioned. It's really cool though :mario:

In 3.0 I felt it was about even. In 3.5 it's probably in Marth's favor, but not even close to as bad as the melee MU.

You can also do it on FD and the bottom of FoD. Dthrow nerf is especially annoying against floaty characters like M2 and Peach. He's still good though.

He really likes Wario in 3.5 so he will likely main him. I'll be sticking with Mario. Guru's Wario is super entertaining to watch though, so I support his switch lol.
