I was afraid that they would check my battle.net account on the Internet and see that I only have a WoW trial on there so they wouldn't let me in. Btw, they're doing the beta in waves but I don't think my chances are high because I'm at the bottom of the waiting list/queue.

Thanks, and I just went into Bootcamp (on my mac) and submitted my PC specs there. Is it okay if I don't have Starcraft on my battle.net account? Because my older brother brought and owns SC and Brood War so they're tied to his account. I just added a 10 day WoW trial and then it allowed me to upload my specs and beta-opt in.

I thought Blizzard already closed down the SCII beta sign-ups?

Garchomp has been tested recently even with Latias around, even Latios and Manaphy were part of the testing, and it was STILL found broken, and so was Latios. Manaphy isn't OU either, nor does it look like it will be OU for a very long time, if ever.

You did fairly well in the MK dittos. It was pretty evident you were panicking at points, but that's understandable when playing someone like Anther.

Yeah, I'm in Ann Arbor for school now. figure I'll get into the midwest smash scene. Haven't played competitively in forever. Hence the disappearing and long time no see. I'm sure we'll run into each other at tournies soon. We'll have to do a few friendlies.

I don't know too much about specific policies because my studies mainly focus on interactions between individual people and their behavior or like individual firms and that stuff. But I know that the policies were made on assumptions like people do what's in their best interest moneywise, and that they view what they own as the value of that good and that they don't like their own stuff more, and a lot more stuff.

Behavioral econ restructures all the models to how people actually behave in real life. It's basically math heavy psychology of people in real situations. So it'll restructure policies to go off the assumptions of how things actually work. For example, classical theory says that when people earn more money, they work more to build up for times when they won't make as much, but in real life (and according to behavioral econ theory), on days that someone earns more money, they're likely to work less because they've made enough for the day.

Economics used to be pretty much link with psychology, but they split up early in the early 1900's. Econ went supper math based with all the new math found out, and psychology went more high tech with the technology to measure more things. Behavioral economics is basically the rejoining of the two fields after almost a decade of being apart.

They're both stupid and both are afraid to do what they know is the best thing to do because it'll look bad in public eyes and they won't get reelected, lol. But they both have good and bad parts about them and I don't really have a side. Though for the time being, we need more democrat based policies...

also, they typically use classical economic theory models (which is like 1930's through early 1990's research), where they should be using behavioral game theory models which is basically a mix between psychology and economics and uses a sweet new math tool called game theory, to come up with the theories (that's been from the 1990's-now). This new field is basically redesigning economics so the old guys out there aren't willing to look at it much yet.

haha, well not sure if that's gonna happen XD... See, if I had more free time, then I would use that time to read more books and get further ahead XD... For you see, one day my name's going to be on that list of Nobel Prize in Economics winners :D

haha, nice... I probably won't be able to make it. I'm one of the top econ and honors math students at UofM. 2 of my courses are graduate level math courses, I'm doing math research, and I do a lot of non class related studying like reading current econ articles to discuss them with professors and such, so 12 hours at a tournament is too much time to spend. Sorry

Naw sorry. I have 5 incredibly tough courses this semester and I have a lot of other school related stuff so I don't really have the time to devote an entire day to smash anymore... not to mention I'm completely broke, lol.
