So you had asked what the practicality in double shining might be
and of course shield pressure is the main use, but i started thinking
it can be used as a mixup to catch ur opponent off-guard; when being pillared, the best option against a falco who wont be shield grabbed is to wd oos, but with double shining, u could very likely screw up their timing and/or get in a shine because they dropped their shield. If they decided to stay in shield, then u could continue until u got a shield stab or even a shield break?

Maybe Ill just be better at melee than brawl. Hopefully....not like insane but it just kinda comes more naturally to me....
Screw smashboards for not banning MK....I don't know who hungrybox is but for you to mention him he must be important and I shall look him up. Congratz on beating him. And im not exactly 16 yet but soon.....very soon.
And that means I can pick up playing melee competitively since i can drive :D

I saw that as a result before I even mentioned it.
If you feel this is better. Cause I can see, in the last year, that multiple topics lost their purpose and either got moved or closed. You continue to do it how you see fit, though. I only see it as a way to bypass some bad attention from major spam by providing a thread with a bigger purpose.
I guess you're not seeing it as I am. Multipost (Such as OP and 4 after, reserve them) and link to each in the OP. It cleans up the AS room as well with less topics making that topic easy to find and giving more attention to tournament topic. I believe one whole topic is better.
Also, PR topics can only hold so much purpose to those who value their roles. They wouldn't hole any less value to these people should they be placed in one topic. I've talked to some of the members of the board, Virg being one of them, and they too believe all states and regions should do this. These people just sorta have given up SWF, though.
Do what? How is multiple minitopics better than one massive topic?

Well, after playing at my house with some people, I learned that my TV lags. And here i thought I was doing good practicin' by myself. I'm rather disappointed. I have no room to put the no-lag TV anywhere, so I'm at a loss. Lolz.
SO! What's being done 'bout the Melee PR thread? Might y'all be considerin stickin the Brocator thread, brawl PR thread AND Melee PR thread all into one massive thread? I know I would do it. prevents people from searching for the other threads.

Given the time, I might try to main the Master Hand. Yes, MH can be chosen. Unfortunately, I think, maybe, I will not have a human opponent, not sure.
One thing though. MH can't be defeated.

also ally has been winning matches off of m2k in nationals like Gensesis...so i dont see what his issue is.
its true...I mean Ally started crying after he lost to m2k...thats somewhat understandable but to behave in this manner is unseemly from him, and m2k feels bad now for playing well...and doesnt even wanna enter into Brawl at Apex. (usually id be jumping for joy to hear that b/c. melee m2k is legend but he's happy playing both games...no one deserves to take away his another player's joy).
I think I know how Juan feels now, after hearing people ***** about puff. (poor Jason)
and now after m2k's feel good moment he feels like **** cuz ally isn't giving him credit for beating him (mk johns). He's also gonna team with adhd instead of m2k now for Apex 2.
its true...I just wish the Japanese weren't so cut offfrom the rest of the smash world. They're the founding fathers of this game anyway.
another thing...how do you think everyone benefits from being able to play other countries more extensively for the first time.
that was well said....I honestly do believe that melee evolved when m2k showed us what was up. Melee can only go up and beyond from this point on.
and trust me you're better than you know.
I know its sounding like an interview now...but how far do you really see this game going in the future ? I mean the metagame was based around three people over the years...Ken, M2K, and Mango? Now that these guys (2/3) are losing interest for this game how do you see melee evolving and if so do you think Armada plays a role in that as I see him as the next "King of Smash" /hopefully its you, though (i've seen your growth as a player from like the get go and you impressed me even back then.
you aint lying...I honestly think if he didnt let **** bother him, he'd be in GF's against mango most of the time, but only time will tell what he decides to do from here on out. And eventuallyarmada is gonna beat mango, I can see it . (mango's lack of motivation is kinda what might be his downfall...drinking and **** just to entertain himself).
And yeah Armada is beast against spacies. So is Amsah
at least from what you saw of Amsah and Armada....how do you think you would fare against both of them?
also if that is true...then im happy for Jason either way...but id be sad if he left melee. Mango says he's pretty much done with melee except at big tournies. (he's bored with this game lol) as ******** as that sounds.
M2K needs to learn how to enjoy melee for what it is. He my never reach the plateau of perfection that he used to have but at least try and **** while having fun.
lol...then like Dogy says you gotta work your way up the ladder of alternative success in order to take on mango's puff. First you gotta learn to be **** at the falco ditto MU ( hopefully you and shiz collide) would've been nice to see some zhu vs. pp falco dittos at Pound 4. That way you learn all of the falco styles and become too good at the MU even for mango...but then their is his crazy *** fox you gotta deal with next (if you get through that then im sure puff is next unless mango wants his Cpt. Falcon to come out and play) btw he ***** zhu's falco with CPT FALCON WHEN HE GETS BORED OF ****** HIM IN FALCO DITTOS AND FOX/ FALCO MATHCUP)
btw shiz and mango played puff/falco mu mango's puff had a hard time with shiz...shiz only loses to juan because of how gay juan's puff is but i guess shiz will know how to deal with HBOX after what you did to him at Herb 3.
well mango is a bit of a ****...his puff is sooo untouchable "literally" he doesnt play puff if he doesn't see you as a worthy opponent.
and I guess he doesnt use her often because he doesnt want what happened to m2k to happen to him where Jason used marth exclusively (almost) and mango figured him out eventually. Kinda like what u did to HBOX and what M2K is hopefully gonna do to both mango and hbox. JASON seems alot more confident in himself now.
ahhh I c it all makes sense now... its just I see ally johning about his loss to m2k and saying that it wont happen again and even if it does he'd get ***** by adhd the next time they play. Im not a brawl fan but, i just wanted see how many johns he's created today. Also train hard and beat mango's puff.
