I stand at a point where I've pretty much stopped caring as well. As of now, I more or less assume we'll be seeing inclusions among the likes of K. Rool, Inklings, and/or Wolf, so... Either way, it's not really a big deal to me anymore. Disappointing, perhaps, but I'm not going to go on a rage...

Tis the world we live in, sadly. I still can't bring up Ms. Shantae around my house without my brothers claiming she's predominantly a fan service character. (Seriously, it's an argument I just can't win. :b) It honestly just makes me hope she lands a spot in smash even more.

You and me both. (Heck, probably just about everyone here.) Especially considering that I recently heard the wonderful rumor that the entire ballot was an April Fool's joke. I highly doubt this, but the sheer thought of it coupled with all this suspense is near murdering my soul. I understand...

True enough. Everything's pretty much already in place at this point. It's more or less in Master Sakurai's hands now. God... my heart can't take this anticipation anymore. Must... temper... expectations... must... suppress... hype...

You know, with everything coming to a close on the ballot, I just want to say that I'm surprised. Surprised that a character that I originally believed didn't have a prayer in hell, became one of the most rapidly and wholeheartedly supported by the community. I'll be honest, my original vote...

If this is how much attention Shantae gets on a regular basis, I can only imagine what the support for the other forerunners must look like. Glorious art, by the way. (-^-^-) EDIT: Looking at this now, I have no idea what the heck my point was. (I may be more tired than I thought. :b)

My sprites are typically drawn from some kind of inspiration for the general structure (For example, Mega Man 7), but are pretty much completely custom-made. I'm glad you liked 'em.

Oh, just good?? I'm kidding. (-^-^-) Once again, I thank you for your kind words, and I'll continue to do my best. And for what it's worth, I'd also like to say that I greatly enjoy your style as well. It's got that sort of broad, yet detailed look I absolutely adore.

It's amazing how essentially one little thing can shift the tide so dramatically. (Given the sudden re-awakening of Shovel Knight's campaign and all that.)
