  • I absolutely hate lag. It cripples me. ;.; I honestly wasn't expecting ToonLink to have a Snake back up. Fun. :p Do you know what messed with your connection?
You were pretty good with Lucario. I bet you would have done l33tne55 to me if there were no lag. I'm really good with TL but when there is lag, I just don't stand a chance.
Aww. I'm kinda glad that it wasn't me, but sad that we can't Brawl. I can tell you're good with Snake. We gotta Brawl later.
    That was crazy :(
Well, my Wii won't connect to the internet (WTF?)
We can brawl again later sometime.
Oh, your not gone, your just creating a really long thread...
When you're ready to fight, get my FC from my profile and LETSA FIGHT! After all, you demanded one a long time ago.
Mmk, weekends work better for me, with class and all that. Righto, so I live MT time, so our hour difference might be a bit tweaked.
sup. Yea, i live out way west, so i doubt a RL brawl, but I do have the wifi's. It varies from no lag, to insane lag. But I can some time.
I hate school. All the extra work. -.- Can't wait until I graduate, although my broken rib and twisted back is making miss so much I might not.
I'd like to brawl you, but usually, when I'm on your not....

    For example, right now...:(
Can you say KAMEHAMEHA 3 times fast? I find it fun. I wonder how you Brawl. It's been a while since I have.
    I'll fight ya whenever. I can't drive now, due to the front of my car bein bashed up, so I got nothing but free time. I'll fight ya later. I still need to learn who I can fight with the best. Phoenix cleaned my clock a while ago, so I gotta get better. Then again, that's why I wanna keep fighting people. AND I HATE MY FRIENDS! I WANT THEM TO BE STRONGER AND NOT USE ITEMS! ;.;
♥I wish I could help.. but I'm brawling someone at the moment! I'm truly sorry! :dizzy:

★Would you like me to refer you to someone who can brawl?
It's obvious a swordsman can't be good without a real metal sword, but that's the end of it. He can pick from any sword he wants and still be good with it. It's not the sword, it's the swordsman.

I picked the PT from the start. From the moment he was confirmed, I just picked him up as my main.
I feel like playing with Ike now. Yay for Swords! Or maybe Pit. He was my 1st character I liked in the SSE. And then there's MetaKnight, the bad-a**. He'd be good too.
Yeah, but still, if a swordsman doesn't know atleast what typeof blade he's best at, then it would be even harder for him t aquire the skill needed to use said swords.
But then here's the thing, the sword doesn't make the man. A swordsman can have all the best swords in the world, but what if he doesn't have the skill to use them? Those are the best of the best, yet none are good! Why? He lacks the skill needed.

Just pick who you want and keep practicing. It will almost always have a shaky start.
I know that everyone I play against is different, but if I don't find people that I can play with at my best, then all of my enemys will be able to walk over me. If a Swordsman can find the type of blade he works best with, he'll fight better.

In compeditive play, I try never to use items. It's just that all of my friends know they don't win in compeditive play, so they like being able to throw out a pokeball or use a final smash when they gotta. Personaly, I enjoy firing Zelda's Light Arrow, but I'm fine with a couple of Din's Fires as well.

I use a lot of people who's weaknesss tend to overlap eachother (atleast in my eyes). Mario, Zelda, Samus, ZSS, Pit, Fox, Metaknight, Lucario, Ike and Sonic seem like they overlap and work well with eachother. I may not know them all perfectly, but I brawl with mainly them, and can work on them to learn more. I've tried everyone, and they're my favorites.

Also, DON'T YOU DARE SAY THE WORD "tier" IN THIS ROOM! AS DR. RIGHT SAYS, TIERS ARE 4 QUEERS! *smacks with Wiimote* (Check out Smash Kingdom / Melee on Negrounds if you wanna know where that's from. Not recommeded for young children though.) XD But seriously, I don't like Tiers. Tiers are mainly tournament rankings, which makes them pretty much popularity contests in my eyes. Plenty of people can destroy others in tournament settings, but those same people don't always make it to the tournament itself. Plus, not every tournment is considered, and not all of those that are have everything running correctly. To me, Tiers are dumb. I say we let true experts like the SBR battle it out and decide who wins against who, or better yet, let the experts in Nintendo tell us who they think are the best (despite they probably wouldn't). But I don't ever rely on Tiers. I didn't know that Sonic was low tier and Meta-Knight top until just recently.
Hey phoenix, reading the below messages made me want to challenge you even more. XD
Actually, I got worn out about the time I fought Mario. 0_o I stopped Brawling for that very reason. The more one fights in long battles, the more he/she is gets mentally tired. For me, I'm tired. I can't focus straight and lost my desire to fight.

The best you got out of me was around the first 3 or 4 matches. After that, I just became worn out.

I'll help you, let's discuss some stuff now.

1 - You don't need to discover who you're good with. Thing is, what might work against me could completely fail against somebody else. What you need to do is find a character you like, and are sure to stick with, and begin to use him/her on Wi-fi or any other battles.

2 - ITEMS WILL NOT HELP YOU DEVELOP GOOD SKILL AS MUCH AS PURE SKILL VS SKILL BATTLES DO. The only exception to this rule is those characters who happen to take out items, such as bombs and bannana peels [Link, Toon Link, Diddy Kong, Peach, etc.] However, getting used to no items with help you develop better skills and strategies for opponents.

3 - Know your character inside out. You must know the weaknesses and strengths of your character. This sometimes requires you to look past who you like and use another one of the characters you like. This is where your other mains and secondaries come in. They might be able to stand up to a challenge that another one of your characters couldn't manage.

4 - If you really want to choose your character based on how you like him/her avoid caring about the tier list.

That's pretty much the best advice I can give.
Dang. Am I that Predictable? My Gosh I was pathetic.
Sorry for tiring you out. Maybe we can try to discover who I'm good with later? I honestly haven't a clue, since my friends love playing with items and junk on.
The people I like are Mario, Zelda, Samus, ZSS, Pit, MetaKnight, Fox, Lucario, Ike, and Sonic. I've played with and am cpable of using most anyone in the game though. Got any recommendations? AND STOP TAKING IT EASY ON ME! YOU'RE TOYING WITH ME, SAVING ME IN HALF THE MATCHES, AND GIVING ME EASY KILLS, AND YOU KNOW IT!
Heh, competition is good. Sure, I'll help you. Also, just try anyone you want. With enough practice, ANYONE can be your main.
Okay, now you're being mean. If I'm getting my butt kicked, punish me for it. Don't suicide yourself to make it even! Brawl is about destroying an enemy for his mistakes, as are all fights. Hm. Who can I use to exploit an enemy's mistake?
