to put it into perspective, my 3000th post was in fall 2007 and my 7000th post was in oct 2008. my join date is 2002. i've gotten a lot faster xD
and yeah, psychoincarnate used to be really crazy, and brawllover rivalled my speed as well

I often make the background out of brushes and textures (and occasionally filters), then open a render layer, then use more brushes, c4ds, and filters in order to really make the tag. =)
i also kinda think you should stick to animations. however, that could be because i'm nervous you'll get good enough to compete with me and zrky lol. (jk) you shouldn't try to limit yourself with "splatter sigs" at your level though. You need to work to learn more and expand your knowledge so you can be really good and do any type of sig. I myself might have even done it too early. I'm not amazing compared to who used to be in the all stars and stuff, but there are only a couple shops out now. I don't mean to be sitting on a high chair or anything. Let me clarify, I'm not the best out there.

I don't have too much free time, so the idea of teaching is pretty much out, but you can PM me with any questions or tags that you'd like me to critique. I'd be happy to do that.

I'm no where near good enough to teach someone how to make sigs.
Mainly I just use a select few tutorials and Senthrax.
I just look at other people's sigs and try to figure out what they did.

Uploading takes a REALLY long time for Revver, and half the time it errors in the middle of the upload. I usually have to try two or three times before it works, and it's just frustrating. -
