    Ah ha, yeah that is a trend I have somewhat noticed. Guess the Broom is just that baller, as I'm slowly starting to learn haha.

    Damn those usernames are nostalgia bombs. Rici, FalcoX, commonyoshi, camo-man, Duke, thedocsalive, etc. Such good times back then, despite how different it was. I appreciate the long, tenuous effort for me man! =D

    Feeling old? Yeah, I def. feel that way sometimes. I mean, I'm not 21 yet though I will be in June, which does kind of make me feel old. What's scarier is the fact that I'm coming up on my senior year of college. o_O That, coupled with the fact that so many new Dgamers are so young, many in HS still, just exaggerates the effect haha. Its funny though, because mafia here at SWF is a really good link back to my high school days, I remember it really well. Crazy how that works.

    Been awhile since I've seen you around man, ever since you quit playing mafia over in forum games/Dgames. Hows life? Still play mafia at all? Where you spendin' your time on SWF?

    It's hard to say exactly what is wrong in _your_ case, since I can't see your machine myself. But I can say what generally can be going on and what you might be able to do to fix it.

    The sure bet is to wipe the drive and start over. You'll need an install disk. One probably came with your PC, but usually people chuck them, so you might need to download it on another computer, burn it to disk and boot off of it. That can be an involved process if you haven't done it before.

    Naturally you'll want to move any files you want to save. Though do keep in mind that some files may have been infected by the virus, so anything you move can possibly be a risk to your new install. Though generally music and pictures are safe. Movies are good as long as you use VLC to play them!

    When a virus prevents you from accessing the internet, they often do it by overwriting your hosts file. It's a little system file that lets you hardcode where certain websites are. Comes in handy for a lot of things. But it also lets a virus hijack your internet.

    You can probably find the file at C:\system32\drivers\etc\

    Look in it and delete any suspicious looking lines. This might let you access the internet.

    I will, of course, urge you to get a REAL solution and use a Linux operating system. The most popular of which Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/ It's made by people who actually care about your security and don't do things which actively subvert your privacy and freedom like Microsoft and Apple do.

    You can even install both Wind0ze and Ubuntu side-by-side, choosing which you want at startup. I'd be more than willing to help you set it up.
