I think I'm just going to go with the "lazer tag" idea. Basically, teams of two will fight each other on a few stages such as Hyrule Temple and New Pork City using explosives and projectile shooting items like the cracker launcher. Yeah, it's the almost the complete opposite of competitive standard but I've wanted to do an off-the-wall tournament for sometime now.

I really do look forward to the tier list switcharoo tourney, though.
Because, wow, the new tier list makes the matchups really interesting.

Well I warmed him up in a low tier tournament on Saturday. It had like 65 atendees and I got 9th going only yoshi, losing to 2nd and 4th place only. (Ness and Pokemon Trainer) . BUT I'm gonna use him exclusively (no matter how much I'm tempted to switch to Peach to overcome tough matchups) at SCSA, a huge socal tourney a few weeks from now. =)
