What on earth is this music licensing nonsense? I cannot fathom how this could possibly be an issue here - it's Nintendo's game that they released with certain music, and if they want to support it seriously they had better sort out whatever licensing there may be. It's utterly unprofessional...

Definitely a neat idea, but from a gameplay perspective it makes little sense. It would only serve to be a distraction, drawing players' eyes away from the actual gameplay and onto the portraits as they changed.

Yes, wireless controllers add lag. It's relatively negligible for all but the highest levels of play, but adding wired options for an intensely competitive game is practically a must. The problem with that in this context is that the Wii U doesn't really have any reasonable way to do that...

I would very much like to see Lucario wearing Riley's hat and necklace. Costumes based on other trainers that have famously had Lucarios, such as Maylene or Cynthia, could also be pretty neat.
