what is a good approach, i have trouble with sheildgrabbing, i can space the bair to avoid it against some but the neutral and down air are problems. Also what throws are good to combo from in general? I'm completely new to mario.

I use x for wavedashing and shorthopping, y for full jumps and jc grabs or shines, the controll stick for shdl and jc usmash as well as some areals like a jumping bair below the stage or u throw to uair. I have all the bases covered.
