    Does anyone play online anymore?

I've been there. Nobody plays FFA with items.

    Does anyone play online anymore?

I play basic brawl a lot and I never see that stuff. You must get bad matchups. Sure, there's an occasional Ike, but everyone has figured out to not leave Ike free to charge fsmashes. The "worst" I have seen are those who try to taunt all match. But it's fun to kill them too.

    Does anyone play online anymore?

I play basic brawls because I can't find anyone who plays FFAs with items on.

    The death of "With Anyone"

"With anyone" is the only way I can find and play matches with items on. "Items on" matches are the hardest type of matches to find, especially 1v1 matches.

What irritates you the most online in brawl?

Actually, yes. Sorry for the double post, but I posted before I read the topic.

No options to play with items on no matter what.

The Official SBR Brawl Tier List v1.0

This is my post from another forum about this topic (not named GameFAQs, I have yet to post there about this), which was posted there: Five of the seven characters that I play with are bottom tier: Samus Sonic Pokemon Trainer Link Ganondorf The other two are: Zelda Bowser "In Smash, any...

What Made You Want To Use Sonic?

I'm a Sonic fan. That's about it. I'm terrible with him even though I have been playing with him since forever. I have to add, I have been playing with Sonic since the game came out, but it only took me like a week to get good with Zelda. A world of a difference some priority makes.

Official 'Item Standard Play' Thread (65k views. Not bad for a side project, huh? :P + Poll in OP)

That's how I learned how to play Melee too. I never turn the items off.

Official 'Item Standard Play' Thread (65k views. Not bad for a side project, huh? :P + Poll in OP)

I heard about a format where people used items, and after a bit of excitement after hearing the news, I am met with disappointment after reading the first post. I'm disappointed that people are still using the word "balanced" as if the game was ever designed to be as such.

This goes out to everyone learning Underused Characters

I have been playing with Sonic since the game game out, and I've pretty much given up all hope of winning consistently 1v1.

    final smash!!! i hate it!

Must be nice that they can break the smash ball at all. I hit that thing five times sometimes with Sonic and it won't break, then someone playing with Wolf will hit it just twice (without it ever being hit at all) and break it.

Official Brawl Tier Discussion (OP Updated)

I would use Ganon, but I'm too used to his Melee version. Maybe in about a year or more after I have forgotten Melee Ganon, he won't seem as sluggish.

Official Brawl Tier Discussion (OP Updated)

I use characters because I like them too. That's why I have a list of theoretically (according to the tier list) sorry characters. Don't get me wrong. I love Bowser. I wanted to use him in Melee but he sucked TOO much. In Brawl, I can actually win matches. He has some pretty fast/high...

Official Brawl Tier Discussion (OP Updated)

I'm certainly not c-stick spamming. In fact, I prefer to avoid characters that "have it a bit too easy." That means I try to avoid the characters with great recoveries (Pit, Snake), can fly/multiple jumps (the Kirby characters), and are just obscene (Star Fox characters). WIth the roster I'm...
