Ah the flu. It's been a while since I've been sick. It's pretty ****ty because school happens way too fast and you can't really participate. That tempo is wayyy too much, esp in uni. (for as far as I know)
Back to Japan? Been there before? Sounds legit! Learning Japanese shouldn't be too much of an issue, right? Pretty easy language haha. Man, Australia is really close. For me, it's literally the other side of the globe

About instruments, I can't say anything but I'm jealous :v I'm really bad with instruments, I can't hold a rhythm for too long before my fingers start going too fast and then I screw everything up. Piano and trumpet... sounds like you've been watching Sakamichi no Feelings? If so, high five! If not, do it!
And yeah, holding on to programming sounds like the smart thing to do. Staying in the groove, if only to a certain degree, is probably a good idea haha.
Routines are pretty ****ty, but the future sounds good : o good luck with that.

A year off is pretty sweet. Sometimes you need a break, ya know? Planning on travelling somewhere?
I got accepted to NHTV Breda, which is within Holland. It is the second most prestigious Game Design college in the world, and I got a top application, so I got top25 out of like 1000+ applicants. Pretty hype for that! I'm gonna be doing Independent Game Design, which is 60hours/week, and includes visual arts, programming, designing, marketing... basically everything. Pretty stoked~
A lot, the short of it is I'll be moving out this summer before I will choke a *****, because I got accepted and stuff.
