I usually kill Ness with Charizard. Hydde already mentioned a couple ways in which Charizard can kill him, and I'd also mention Flamethrower while edgeguarding. It seems to really screw with people who haven't perfected the PK Thunder recovery.

One thing I've noticed while using Charizard is that his Down Throw can sometimes be a chain-grab when the opponent is at low health. It's not as hard to avoid as Dedede's, but those who don't know how to properly DI will still get caught in it.
