    My first fox vid

Not bad Dark! Although your fox seemed solid I agree with most of the posters that the Snake was not very impressive. It was still an entertaining video and I'm looking forward to more :)

    Super Armor List

Super armour is great! (a great pain in the butt...). Great job compiling this list, it's been very useful!

"Play Defensively" What does that mean?

HAHA! So true! Basically, I agree with Rofa. Defensive play is based around reacting to your opponent. Ideally you'd like to control the pace of the game - force your opponent to come to you - which opens up the many defensive options within brawl. You can then punish them.

    falco help...[i'm a noob]

I apologize for the double post :p

    falco help...[i'm a noob]

I love falco's spike. I've been playing around with him more often just because of it :) His down air seems to spike during the first few frames of the attack, so even though the attack last a long time, it will only send someone down right (or soon after) you use it. I can't confirm that 100%...

    New SHDL vs melee SHFFL

I have limited experience with Falco (play fox mostly) but I've found both SHDL and a single laser both useful. They're situational. Some characters naturally end up in the air more, like a Marth player, and they will often jump into the first shot of a DL. If I'm playing someone who is more...

Video with cool, NEW Yoshi techniques!

Yoshi gives us Fox mains a really tough time. That video was great, good find!

Can anyone test waveshining for me?

To my knowledge it doesn't work, not infinitely anyway - a good character will escape it. The knockback seems to be just out of initial dashing range and you just can't cover the ground fast enough to trap somebody. It's too bad really.

Official Brawl Tier Discussion (OP Updated)

I wanted to throw my vote in for Fox. He's no melee fox but he can still dish out a beating.

    Controller Layouts: Compare and Contrast

L: Shield R: Shield Z: Special Y: Jump X: Grab A: Attack B: Special C: Smash TJ: Off I main fox and I found it a lot easier to do a Jump Shine if I made Z special. I play with my index finder on Z and my middle finger on R so I am ready to press either at any instant.

    Utilizing Fox's Potential

I don't know whether I think he'll be top tier, although right now I'm extremely confident that is tournament viable. I agree with everything in your post (after your clarification of the combo thing :p) and I think his speed and air stall greatly improve his mindgames, which should allow good...

The Big Book of Fox Matchups

Wario's biggest enemy is his range. He has none. My advice for him is to do your best to keep him at bay. Many of Fox's attacks can out range his and moves like your nair, forward tilt, and down tilt could be handy. Pummel him with lasers as much as possible to rack up extra damage as well...

Fox has been gimped- so why do I keep winning?

I've thought more about this overnight and this is my simple conclusion: he can do damage quickly, and his smashes kill at low percents. His aerial attacks (fair and dair especially) are great for setting up combos and both do considerable damage, and in general, his moves just lead into combos...

    Random Tripping Fix?

I hope this works! Could be fun :)
