I didn't think people would get so upset so quickly.

I even stated that the list wasn't under finalization and a 'mock up' multiple times throughout various pages in the thread. I'm not out to start unnecessary drama, especially with ZELDA and people whom I've made friends with in the smash community.

Really wish you guys would have brought this to my attention earlier without everyone jumping the gun and crying in their private sub-forum/talking about it via shoutouts on aib to Fuujin and Diska and spreading all this bull****/misunderstanding, but whatever.. I guess it's fixed now (at least, I hope it is).

Diska like has always hated me for the stupidest smash reasons and his ******* best of each character tryhard wifi lists and it's annoying. I don't even ever try to get in arguments with him and it always pops up somehow.

Vinnie is probably better than all of us with Zelda. What would be a shame is if he does get put into the Top 5 Zeldas and never uses her again. Being a Top 5 for anybody should require some degree of commitment for that character.

Salt be everywhere really, not just from here. It's hard to please everyone, and we're all biased in one way or another.

I really think there should be like a different system of things like this though. Like instead of having one or two people making the decision about the entire roster's best players (and correct me if I'm wrong about the one or two people thing), then what they can try instead is have each character board compile a list of their own as to who they think are the top 5. This will ease off pressure from the solo person posting this entire list and distribute their views more spread out. Also bring up polls and have people post tournament results of the players' accomplishments.

Then, after a good amount of time is spent into having each character board agree with the top 5 list (and it's impossible to get everyone to agree because everyone has their own opinion) but at least it would be looked more into and become more public oriented. Not trying to sound like a liberal here lol, I just think this may be a more accurate way of getting these lists going.

Finally, each character board submit their list to the one person who finalizes the list for any little changes, and put up the list here.

We basically did all of that (aside from the polling) from me just bringing the Zeldas in there and asking them their wins/losses. On top of that, we can get outside perspectives compared to only Zelda players' opinions in a subforum.

I don't mind the pressure or responsibility.

Yeah, Waymas is actually interested in that, and I've told him a couple times, the only problem is to find all of his results, he just told me he had the Wario placings thread, and I checked and there are only this years' results, but all of the other results we don't know where to find them :/

We're one of the few boards that has a (mostly) up to date video and tournament results thread and it wouldn't have taken you more than like 30 minutes to read through everyone's results and wins.


Regardless, I'd like to be taken off.
The way you've ran it so far makes me hard to take it seriously and I'd rather just have nothing to do with it.

Hmm, so I found a really old thread we had here that had a listing of several Zelda players that included region, tags, pictures, etc. The thread is incredibly outdated, and I'm not sure if anyone is going to be editing it any more. If everyone is cool with this, I can redo the Zelda Finder (I'll think of a more clever name eventually lol) thread and get it updated with all the Zeldas we've had in the past year, and much more. I'm going to be doing this for All is Brawl Zelda boards, so I figured I might as well do it here too. What do you guys think?
