@half-split: thanks for the advice - it was the screen resolution that was the biggest problem btw... turns out one of the screens someone was viewing the site from was around 1600xsomething which is quite big.

I mean, I get what they are, but how often do you get them? On which characters? Which percentages? Etc. etc.

It'd be pretty sweet if they could be forced (although I hiiiiiiiighly doubt that's possible).

So far it happened (as I recall) once to an Olimar at mid percents, and once to a Toon Link at mid percents. And maybe one other time, but I don't remember, I remember describing it to someone for some reason but I can't remember if it's because it happened or not...

I have got the opposite to happen quite a few more times where a character will go flying instantly and Zelda will still be in hitlag

Edit: this is weird as well, one time I was playing Peachkid and he was using his UpB and I LK'd him and Peach went flying instantly and very far away from the stage and downward but continued to pull out her parasol leaving him with no hope of recovering.

If you're not trolling, here's a serious answer lol:

Play with other characters (Marth, Sheik, and Peach are the characters I use to warm up/get in the flow). I say this because personally, when I use characters other than Zelda, I see different openings in my opponents habits that I can't see with Zelda..because I can't punish them. I usually play with Marth, Peach and Sheik to get my thinking juices flowing and then I go Zelda while my thinking juices are raging lol.

I hope I'm not the only one that does that .__. I feel weird now lol.

Another thing that I do when I feel like I suck is I study Riot and Jujux. Like, I'm sure I've seen every Riot and Jujux video there is at least twice. They see things differently than I do (obv due to them being different people lol) so, I observe the things that they do and try to take certain things into account when I play.

Hmm...I'm trying to think of anything else I do when I feel like I suck...

I usually say "I suck" a lot and feel like giving up but, that won't help you...hrmm...lol.

I think that last one is just a weird thing that happens with electric attacks interacting with characters going for the ledge.

With Pikachu, if you use an electric attack (usually fsmash/thunder) just as MK goes for the ledge with Shuttle Loop, he can go flying away from the stage at some ridiculous angle and enter his special fall.

It's pretty glitchy though.... no one's found a way to do it consistently.
