What's crack-a-lacking Valkyria Chronicles fans?

Giving the demo of VC4 a shot, and I'm liking it so far. I do like the fact that you get more units as you progress through the game and different kinds of units too.

It kind makes me think of Fire Emblem, but not on a Grid. And no support conversations. :V

I'll probably get the full release when it is out, curious on whether it'll get the option to change voices.

Also, what 5th series do you think will be getting represented in BBTAG?

Due to the colour of the 5th diamond. I think people are theorizing that the next series will be either Arcana Heart, Melty Blood or Neptunia. Since they're often seen with pink in their logos. While I'm sure people are thinking it's Senran Kagura due to the Announcer calling out for Asuka and Yumi, I don't think that series has ever used any pink in their logos.

Whereas with Arcana Heart, they can use Heart Aino, Saki Tzusura and maybe even Kamui for the game. Whereas for Neptunia, it'll probably be the main four; Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert. :V

The only thing they'd have to do with Neptunia is create new sprites for them; since they already got the English VAs for the cast. Whereas with Arcana Heart, they'd have to hire new English VAs for them and maybe redraw the sprites? Since I think the sprite sizes of AH are similar to that of Guilty Gear. Melty Blood on the other hand... I see no chance of happening, since for one; they do not use the colour pink at all, they mainly use a blood red (And that RWBY is already represented with a red diamond), they'd have to redraw the sprites and hire English VAs and potentially find some new Japanese VAs to fill in some roles (Miyu Matsuki who voiced Hisui in Melty Blood passed away a few years ago. Her last role was as Alice in Shimoneta).

So overall, I think AH and Neptunia may have the highest chance. SR maybe.

Misango is the Shulk of this game, though I'd imagine the counterpick meta of ARMS makes it hard to recommend him over specialists. Ain't nobody else that gets full protection during a rush though.

What's happening quiet Zelda Social?

So the Yuzuriha Channel discovered some tech for her, which is really .

She can Land Cancel into her Teleport which is really cool imo. In order to LCTP (Land Cancel Teleport), you have to do jC>214A/B/C. What this does is if timed correctly, the landing animation of Yuzuriha's will be cancelled and she'll do her teleport (Not the grounded version). This from what I've heard is great for baiting DPs, however some characters will still hit with their DP.

Them being I think Makoto, Noel and maybe Mitsuru?

But here's the video for those who are curious.

Hopefully this will help out Yuzu, but seems like you'll have to do 236214 to get the Stance version of Teleport when in the air. jC214 is a more easier form it seems like. Speaking of BBTAG, there was a small tournament for it at Super Smash Con, and it was underneath a table.

Soon BBTAG... Soon you'll be able to reach Melty Blood's level of presence (You'll eventually reach the glory that is behind the local Burger King).

The last time I ever saw anything related to ARMS was DesertP's stream of it. Where he was playing with some viewers, and his popular clip of him getting punched so hard, he got kicked out of the Internet. :V

I only want to save 2 shiny Eevees for Glaceon and someone else I guess? I was dumb and evolved my other ones into Jolteons which are obsolete since I have Raikooooopsie. But she's lime green and white which are top tier colors imo so it's fine.

Kinda-speaking of ARMS, tbh I'm really surprised they didn't announce an Arms character for SmashU. I hope one of them gets in the game. Or they can do Spring Man/Ribbon Gorl since they'd be M/F reps and are roughly the same size in a WFT kinda way. Even though I'd prefer Twintelle or Max Brass. Not to mention they're from an alternate fighting game, so their kits would just make themselves.

I think he'd be perfectly fine defensively if his buddy would start guarding just a little bit faster, then it wouldn't be so easy to slip a grab through. I co-main him with Dr. Coyle (she's fun to use AND is the best character personality-wise in my opinion. If I had my way I'd put HER in Smash) , and I do appreciate the ability to transition between in-your-face armoured pressure upon gaining advantage or versus non-elemental arms to high-speed evasiveness in risky situations or versus sluggish arms. His biggest advantage is unpredictability with his ability to wildly change tactics on the fly.

My build with him includes Boomerangs, for their curving and wind to hit around his familiar and give him time to equip, Roasters cuz they're always good (and blue flames fits his "mystic" tone), and Megatons for being decently fast for their weight

Been playing some more BBTAG and also got back to Octopath Traveler, finished Chapter 3 of Primrose's story, so up next is I believe Alfyn's. So I'll be heading back to the town that Ophilia had to go to in her 2nd Chapter; shouldn't be too bad tbh. Then once I've done Therion's and H'aanit's, I'll just have to do Chapter 4 of every character.

Also, I see we're all discussing about ZeRo's Tier List. Just remember, this is a demo and these things can change in the future. So who knows, Zelda may be Mid Tier or High Tier. :V

Well all the ARMS characters other than Coyle have really simple motivations when you think about it. Spring Man is the only one that really wants to be a champ for it's own sake, both for his own satisfaction and the pride of his represented gym (he feels it's the next logical step after what the previous two did). Yes, I read Dark Horse's preview comic. He's basically Little Mac 2.0.

Byte & Barq were my prepatch mains, but I still secondary them.

I got new Xander -res/+def so I suppose he is usable. I assume he is essentially an anti-cavalry Kagero. Given his BST it's very likely he will run into many of the cavalry heauxes too. He comes with QR3 and Close Counter so he's 10/10 fodder even if I don't use him. But having a colorless ranged dancer is always nice.

As for PoGo I burnt through so much of my stardust trying to upgrade gorls to solo 3* raids. Finding partners is basically impossible rip.

Maybe people like the ARMS gorls, but don't want to play the weird af unique game to get to use them.

I liked playing the game until I put my fist through a bolted down LCD TV. I got too into it and jumped forward like a real boxing match. On the plus side the TV was kinda broken and I only needed stitches. Playing games that require physical movement is a bad idea for me because my balance is awful when I have to stand still-ish for some reason I am too bara and things break. Ye. That's why.

So she's going to be a character who wants to be around the ledges at all times. That's better than having "flail around and hope one of ya laggy moves hit" as a strategy.

I wonder if all the characters have a similar type of balancing philosophy where placement/usage is their main focus instead of... Silly shenanigans and flashy drawn out moves.

That would mean Puffgorl would be an Aerial Gawdess instead of a silly balloon gorl. I hope they buffed her considerably. Since having her shield break = star KO is super unfair and she should be a gawdess midair at least.

I AM SOOO BEEYOONDD EXCITED FOR THISSSS OMG LOL the worst thing EVER was trying to get off the ledge as Zelda in Smash 4 like... Farore's Wind sliding off random stage lips? I can deal with it. falling out of multihits? ok it's part of her at this point, but constantly getting up on the stage only to be hit off 90 more times....girl...

I am SO excited for Zelda to be a real character and all the setups and stuff with her phantom this is too much like I really don't think shes gonna be bad and I have a lot of hope in her

i find it funny that zelda has consistently been garbage for four games in a row now and sakurai still hasn't done anything about it

I hear that her Final Smash KOs if the opponent reaches 100%, like Bayonetta, so . . .

I also generally hear that she hasn't changed too much at all, so I wonder what do you think is good about her.

Farore's horizontal range got nerfed too btw. It also looks bigger but does not feel bigger at all.

Din's is still bad, still has a pitiful hitbox but at least it doesn't free fall her.

Jab sucks unless you go into rapid jab. Jabbing someone at 30% sent them literally nowhere.

Nayru's is still good! At least!
