3DS's wireless capabilities are pretty butt so I'd be surprised if it didn't

Unsure of the accuracy of the claims but I've heard numbers like 4 frames of input lag for even local multiplayer on 3DS?

Fairly sure wired connections are an option for Wii U which would also improve connections.

Oh yeah, I do sometimes. They're also nice for "getup traps" if that's a thing.
